The guy has played 13 games. Thats not enough for us to want him as a starter. Kjaer has played for almost two seasons now and he was key in Denmarks qualification to the World cup.

Kjaer is only going to cost us 12 million euro, Rannochia I heard will cost about 18 million and a possible loss of Criscito, he is not worth it.

    Thanks Ahmed.

You have to see if the talent is there. If it's too late good luck paying 20m+ if he develops to be a top CB. Some saw it after 5 games, others like me when he was at Arezzo. I didn't read people comparing him to Nesta either.

They all make mistakes, it's nothing wrong nor surprising but Ranocchia is overrated. People started wanking at him after 5 matches.
What exactly makes Ranocchia overrated? He certainly got all the fundamentals to become one of the best.

He's tall, yet his technique is quite neat for a central defender.

Last time I checked we were an Italian club, which means we won't only have to pay the 12 m €-release clause. The clause is for clubs outside of Italy.

    Ranocchia won't be that expensive.

Too late for that. He's already overhyped in these forums even though I doubt that anyone here watched him on more than 2-3 matches.
I know 3 guys on these forums, including me.

Suns got the numbers all wrong but c'mon, open your eyes mate. People already placed him in their team for the next season while I can bet they saw him play 2 matches at most. He has yet to prove himself, I don't think he'll be that good as some predict.

He has potential but he's surely overrated here, people hail him way too much, hype is just too big.

I have my eyes wide open,Dusan.I'm one of the guys who placed him already in next season's team.I don't know about the other dudes, but personally I've seen him more often than 2 times.I'm not going to say I've already seen him play at Arezzo, but the first time I've seen him play was for Bari in Serie B.I've seen about 4 games of Bari back then, not because of Ranocchia but because I wanted to see what Guberti is about.

Besides I've seen him a few times with the Azzurri youth teams already, where he impressed me as well.

Time will tell who was right about him.

Yes, Ranocchia would be a good target for us in the next mercato. I have no problems with that. But, I think there are probably going to be issues on the technical side, because Preziosi has been ''kind'' to Inter and they supposedly like the player too. The co-ownerships of Palladino and Criscito could be crucial if we're going to get him, although, I wouldn't be surprised to see Ariaudo, Elkdal, or Daud sacrificied either.
