The only argument you need against Pirlo is how he changed the line up every single match. It’s like he’s a toddler in a playground playing with his car toys of different colors and going “today I’ll play with the yellow and red. Tomorrow blue”. Let him do his experiments at a Serie C side, not here.
Allegri had a season with 38 different lineups out of 38 games, without covid. Make of that what you will.

Allegri did the same more or less. One changed the lineup according to the gameplan needed to win, the other is changing it because he no idea what he's doing and wants to look busy

You’re right. The difference is Allegri was an actual tactician who changed it based on what he felt that specific match needed. And most importantly he made it work most of the time.

Pirlo really is an intern that looks absolute lost. Should’ve focused on first creating a solid base and going from there. His experiments were catastrophic.

Juve is working on restructuring the club. A lot depends on the availability Allegri or Zidane, Pirlo will leave, other possible candidates are Gattuso, Inzaghi & Mihajlovic. At managerial level, Paratici will leave,Cherubini will be the Sporting Director(Repubblica)

The coach has to do a few things:
1. Have some tactical knowledge, being able to adapt and try and counter the opposition
2. Motivate the players, put pressure on them to fight for their spot in the team
3. Help develop the players and squad tactically, young players are a club investment so it's in the best interest to help them grow

You can do all the above but not win trophies, but if you do the above then you'll one day would have built a team to challenge for trophies. This is how the top clubs scout their managers - they look for these traits.

Gasperini and Inzaghi have these traits but you'd still think they'd fail at the highest level, we can't be certain but I'd not judge them until I saw them with us.

Now, since we find Allegri and Zidane available, they have the 3 main characteristics plus they have an already great trophy haul. It's not even a debate what we should do. If we screw up this moment then go Inzaghi and back him, no more wannabe hero chess moves from the management.

Zidane did an incredible job to steer this Madrid team to the semis of the CL and runners up to Atletico (falling short of the title by 2 points) as pound for pound, this has been the weakest squad Real have had at their disposal in over a decade. On top of that, they had 61 injuries over the course of the season and many of their key players were rarely available. So all in all, I really doubt anyone could’ve done much better than what he did with that team this season. Ditto for last season when they won the league.
Im not a Zidane hater - You dont need to convince me BUT put everything aside - Real are definitely better than Atletico and excuses aside - they should be able to finish above them in Spain.

Yesterday, there was no meeting at the Continassa. We'll see what will happen in the next few hours. At the moment, nothing has been communicated to Pirlo. Neither a confirmation nor a departure. [Romeo Agresti)

The departure of Zidane will be announced next week. Allegri will be the new coach of Real Madrid. [Giamcolo Scutiero)

iirc we paid Chelsea to get Sarri. He was very much the first and only choice since he was a superior, more accomplished coach compared to Allegri according to his disciples
Because Sarri won a European trophy, so Sarri>Allegri. And now Pirlo won 2 trophies in his first season here while Sarri won only 1, so Pirlo>Sarri. We've been upgrading every step of the way.
