Embarrassing performance.

We aren't going to win anything with no organisation or shape. We really just look like 11 school kids on a field running all over the place with no plan.

Morata has been in poor form but to drop him in a competition that he thrives in for a guy who isn't a striker is another in a long list off baffling selections.

Also how crystal clear has it been that Bentancur has an issue when receiving the ball around the box when pressed? It has been obvious all season and he should be nowhere near that role. Rabiot is far better at protecting the ball and should be doing that role when Arthur is out.

Please for the love of god just put a normal 4 man backline.
Been crying out for it all season. His idea is nice on paper but when you lose the ball players are too far out of position to suddenly convert to a 4.

Should have started Morata. His finishing is poor right now, but his passing is great and we create far more when he’s on the pitch. He’s also been assisting goals lots.

We had zero ideas in attack for the 60 minutes before he came on. It was embarrassing.

Shit show, I just want to forget watching this asap. Currently I have no faith in this team. Our midfield is nonexistant. We are struggling to impose our play on any half decent team. We dont defend well, we cant move the ball forward, our attacking moves are slow and predictable.

We won’t play with any urgency in the second leg. If we don’t score in the first half we are finished because the whole second half will be Porto killing time. And who could blame them, it is our own fault if we are eliminated.

CL is a different animal. We just treated this the same as a regular Serie A/Coppa game, you could see that we had not thoroughly studied Porto, there was nothing out of the ordinary, while Porto came out with clear ideas, clear plan on how to hurt us and that worked they scored a goal and overpowered us for the first hour. Fortunately we sort of got away with it, this could've ended a lot worse than 1:2, now it's on Pirlo, if he wants to keep his job, he's going to have to do a lot better in the return leg.

There is just so much wrong with the team right now.

- We have no shape whatsoever with players running all over the place.
- The lack of shape is fine if we are solid at the back but the gaps are huge and players seem to be able to run freely down the middle.
- We create very few chances.
- We let in numerous chances.
- We seem to have a mentality issue where when something goes against us we don't look like turning it around and very rarely do.
- We are so careless with the ball.
- We look unmotivated.
- We don't look like a team and morale looks poor.
- We don't learn from our mistakes.

Hard to argue that these issues aren't Pirlo's responsibility.

Emotions aside, if we look to the outcome of these 5 difficult matches the game that (for now) hurts our ambitions the most is the ons vs Napoli, but we deserved more.

We should be able to turn things around with the away goal, but Pirlo need to sort things out. Rotating went okay in the Coppa games and the Serie A match against Roma. I was hoping for a peak performance today but it became a shitshow

442 seemed like a good escape from his (what the hell was it anyway?) 3-something-Ronaldo/Morata

Hopefully he stops playing with 2 CMs. McKennie looks kinda lost in this LM/AM role and playing 442 makes us highly depended on our wings but we really don’t create that much from the wings (aside from Cuadrado when he has his day) and our midfield is a joke and overrun pretty easy. It becomes to easy for the opponent aswel to get a numeral advantage in the center when we try to build from the back. Today we saw something that we could’ve expected for months now.

We’re also highly dependable of someone like Arthur who can actually pass the ball and survive pressure. I’d try Fagioli in the coming games and switch to a 433.

It’s embarrassing that we didn’t study Porto, the draw was a long time ago. Should be experts on Porto by now.

Pirlo got schooled hard. And this will continue happening frop, time to time. Sadly for him, he doesnt have the luxury of getting schooled...but well he is like a school boy coaching literally, so well get schooled son.

I just wish he didnt get schooled in juve.

and wayy tooo many pedesterians in this team.

rabiot bentancur kulu can't string 4 passes together without giving ball away.

i'd be up for experimenting with danilo as a DM and bentancur on bench in coming games like @Dominic suggested. might give us more midfield cohesion.

Pirlo is by far the worst coach i’ve ever seen on the Juve bench in my 25 years as a fan, and i’ve seen some useless cunts in that time. My god he’s useless.
My feels exactly.

Del Neri, and all the other bums played like shit,,, but at the very least they knew what they were trying to do in their shitty plans.

Seeing Pirlo is like to see a total amateur who doesnt know shit... which is waaaay wrose.

Of course it is his responsibility, he's the coach. Just like Allegri and Sarri were responsible for their teams.

But most, if not all, of those issues have been lingering around for many seasons now. That tells me it's beyond just a coach making mistakes.
