Wrong game to criticize him. I could understand aftee Verona or Crotone, but Lazio away. Venue where we lost comfortably last season. We played very pragmatic, almost if Allegri was shouting instructions, Lazio never looked like they would get passed our first bank of four. I was impressed but then our bench was thin, CR got a knock, Morata started losing his breath and Dybala basically took a giant dump on everyones effort. Shout out to Rabiot and Benta as they dominated the middle. Very unfortunate draw but we are finally finding our step.
He should be criticized for second half. That was pathetic attitude from a top club. No club would ever do that. No wonder why we struggle in Europe because we're always scared to lose points so we sit back and camp.

I I’m far from being a fan of Pirlo’s tactics. He seems hell bent on this questionable formation despite not having the personnel to match it. Constantly playing guys out of position. We won’t see the best of guys like Arthur, Kulu, etc as they’re never in their correct spots. And also deploying guys like Mckennie on the wing when he’s at best a MF destroyer or B2B.

We had 5-6 counter attacks in the 2nd half when we were in situation 3 vs 3 or once I recall it was 4 vs 2 and we failed to capitalize from it. The strategy was a good one but our realization let us down.

We lost the domination that we had in the first half. It's kinda sad we're relying on counters to play against Lazio.

We also had counters in the first half but in the second we played completely different game where counters were 95% of our play. Against Lazio? No thanks. I'd rather have a team/coach that shows balls rather than defense wall.

Sarri fan? Last year we played possession game here and lost. Actually we lost tvice in space of two weeks in the same manner. I prefer coach getting results. Style isnt important to me. The best Juve teams I recall played pragmatic football, 2 banks of four, closing down important areas, while having meaningful possesion. Pirlo is at least showing progress and that he can learn from his mistakes.

Sarri is one of the worst coaches we had here. So no.

I'd love Allegri. But if not him I'd rather have somebody that knows to win and not just defend toward 3 points like Mourinho.

Im down with giving Pirlo well deserved chance, its still early to call for his head. The campaign is decent so far with good prospects of our game picking up in the following months, once his ideas take root and injured players get back. Allegri's ship has sailed. We need to move on.

I want to keep him, but why blame luck? He made the decision to come here, he made the subs and he knew the avalaible players. He chose the starting 11, he chose the formation and if his players ain't performing, it's on players. There's no luck in any of that, it's full of professionals where things just ain't working all the time.
Luck because:
1. Our best defender is injured
2. Dybala is not performing
3. We should have killed the game off but we did concede from their probably only real chance

Let me be straight on this.

I'm not cutting Pirlo's head because of this game. I never liked the idea of hiring him in the first place. The whole idea of giving ex-players to lead teams with zero experience as a coach is horrible imo. Maybe not horrible for some mid-table teams but for somebody that's in a vital position as we are (not only chasing the CL but also rejuvenating the squad), hiring Pirlo makes zero sense. So far what we've seen from Juve is disappointing. Today's first half was best since he took over but that ain't enough if he's not bagging 3 points. Allegri or not I think we made a horrible decision with our coach selection. I LOVED Pirlo as a player but what we've seen so far is rather bad. I don't see much room for the improvement because we look quite fragile and weak defensively which was always our main strength. Firing him in January makes even less sense since it's a mid-season.

It's not all bad luck though.

We still were asking for it. We could have put that one to bed easily in the 1st half. And even if not, we were sleeping for at least 25 minutes in the 2nd one.

Over this Im not really in disagreement with you. The only explanation for hiring novice, was lack of ther viable solutions and reckoning that a great player Pirlo was once was, will be able to translate his knowledge on the pitch in a different role. He will certainly make mistakes along the way. But today I saw a glimpse of Allegri's Juve, very mature performance for 94 minutes. Then one incident made it all go away.

Imo that's like saying that reading Dostoevsky means possibility writing as good as him. It makes no sense.

We'll see what happens in the future but I expect nothing good. We'll see plenty of wins, surely, mainly because it's Juve and we have good players. But overall no, I think we'll get destroyed in Europe if we face top teams. Plus I'm not even confident about Serie A which was always granted for me, even with Sarri.

Pirlo's my MAN going forward. Euro football is so quick to make changes. It's like Jan 2021 means a new season starts so let's get a new coach. We're not even 20% into the serie season. And so far advancing in CL (Pirlo hasn't fuked that up) looks solid. Give me names of who can for SURE right this ship? Still will take time for new guy to do HIS thing and I believe Pirlo should be given the ENTIRE year.

He's one of our own and hopefully if he has a long career in managing, it's with Juve. Okay, so no doubt Pirlo wasn't qualified for this position but even the doubters need to give it more time! PATIENCE!

Give out coaches names available and have some discussion on it. And if this guy is mentioned .....

Except that analogy isnt good. Once a great player, now given reigns of the team as a coach. The same industry, the same guy, different role. The guy dictated our player during one of our more succesful periods so the expectations are high even if he lacks experience for a new role. That being said, we shouldnt lower our standards and only trophies will make it possible for Pirlo and Juve going forward with their relationship.
