Capello manage a team with full of 2006 World Cup final stars Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Buffon, Trezeguet, Camoranesi, Del Piero, Vieira, Thuram + Ibrahimovic, Nedved, Emerson and fully supported by management but failed twice miserably to English teams in early knockout stages of CL. Capello worse than Sarri.

not to mention he benched del piero for a terrible ibra in ibra second season.

and the football juve played was awful too. way worse than sarri and anything mourinho ever did. that's how awful the football was considering the stars he had

Playing out of position is and always has been an italian speciality. Tactics > Positions. Still remember how Henry was played as a winger.

Nah it wasnt that bad. But he ran the team into the ground. by the time the knock-outs came, Capello teams couldnt get out of first gear
Yeah it wasnt that bad, it was just the expectations of playing good football with superstars. I think one thing he stubbornly failed to move from was that the type of football his team played in Serie A needed to be different in CL. I'd go to say Capello was more stubborn than today's Sarri.

Good luck convincing anti club overreacting extremists who thought/think we should've hired Mou or Ancelotti

I dont know, they reached the CL final in 2006.. in the second leg we managed 0 shots on goal, and if i remember correctly.. only Camoranesi chip was the only threat we made.

They were 4th in EPL and finalists.
