I think it's pure CLASS (and to me obvious) that he plays football for the love of the game - reckon it's difficult to find these players nowadays who probably get carried away with the fame etc that comes with it (but who wouldn't). Pirlo could've become some cocky as bastard if he wanted to, or done anything else, but he knew he was lacking motivation in Milan and needed something fresh to motivate him in football.

Damn, one of the best transfers this season. Forgot who said it but really surprising no one (media) made a fuss about us snapping him up for free.

"Here is our topplayer," Marotta said after the 4-1 with Parma and after the special effects of the regista. In addition, blowing the competition. The perfect crime. "Pirlo, and free, is the hit of the century, many thanks to Galliani," smiled in the summer Gigi Buffon. Then ventured into celestial comparisons, at the debut of the new teammate: "When I saw Pirlo play , I immediately thought: there is a God." There was just a bad thought at the beginning: Pirlo is not the player who is for Conte, everyone whispered. Except that the Juventus coach stood on the lawn at the first workout, playing without him in the day number thirteen for disqualification. It took only a minute to elect him icon for bianconere people : "One like him we have not seen since the days of Platini," the joke on the steps of the pre-season training camp of Bardonecchia. Total confidence, even if John Elkann, president of financial Exor, the majority shareholder, is presented in Villar Perosa with the jersey number 21. The one of the elected.

As I said I always admired and respected him, despite playing for a rival he was never a hate-able character.
same, and imo the same can be said about milan

its a rival, but not one you hate

tbh i cant think of a characteristic player of inter or napoli that could come to us, with hardly any fan making trouble of it

Nice signature haha. Thanks. I never rated Pirlo because he was Milan player. But I can see now how good he is. !
