This is really stupid btw.

How didn't the cameras register a yellow?

It's what's in ref's book and Pirlo's name was obviously there, but it's unprofessional for the cameras not to register a yellow card given. It's not like the match was played in some village with 1 camera covering it. They should have caught it.

In this case it suits Juve so some can rightfully say that we can't moan. It's really better if Pirlo misses this match than a match against Roma or Udinese, but I'm mad at those who cover and broadcast the matches and I'm mad at Lega Calcio. It can't get more official than Lega Calcio and the fuckers keep making mistakes. First they register a yellow for Lavezzi just so it turns out that there wasn't a yellow. Now they do the opposite with Pirlo.

When did he get the yellow? Yesterday it wasn't registered, not on TV and not in Lega Calcio. Bonucci, Licht, Vidal and Matri are with the yellows.

Did Lichtsteiner definitely get booked?

After the Lichtsteiner-Hamsik incident, I thought at the time the ref flashed the card in Pirlo's direction rather than at Lichtsteiner.

Wonder if Pirlo didn't say something untoward to the ref during the scuffle?

The referee definitely called over Hamsik and Lichtsteiner and showed them both a yellow card.

He was tightly marked tonight, with little time to pull passes, it's the problem with him being the only creative force we have on the MF, i always felt that 2 playing with him must drop a little deeper to help him move the ball and free himself.
yup plus the default was "pass the ball to Andrea" whenever someone was under pressure which put him under even more pressure....not his best game but he got little assistance from his colleagues last night,he missed Marchisio badly

Don't think Pirlo's performance was anything to do with fatigue.

Juventus played a new system, so players didn't understand how to move properly. Also, there wasn't really much width high up the pitch, so his passing options were very limited.

Add to that Hamsik man-marking Pirlo and you see why Pirlo had such a hard time.

Not that those factors excuse the stupid concession of a penalty (Vidal could have done more to help him there).
agreed,it is sometimes hard to give credit but napoli had their tactics spot-on the first half last night.
