Showed his class today. Was truly head and shoulders above everything Parma had in midfield today and they couldn't touch him.

Showed the kind of dominance we've been sorely lacking in the middle against weak opposition in games like this.

I dont give a f**k whether he will manage or not in a 3,4,5 man mid if pressed, unpressed, cooked, baked or what not..... He is a world class player! And world-class players can't be so easily dealt with. Yes, they may press him, but what good would that do to the other team, when by the time they take the ball from him, he would have already passed it to Matri/Vucinic and they would have scored. My best friend who is a Real M. supporter for all his life, compared Pirlo's movement to Zidane's....and trust me, coming from my friend, who considers Zidane to be a football God, the best of the best, no other like him, this is a big thing.... If i were you, i would be more worried about Marchisio, De Ceglie, Krasic, Pepe, Matri being pressed!!

He's definitely baked that's for sure.

Xavi is stronger on the ball, a little quicker and can dribble his man. This probably gives him the overall edge but Pirlo's long-range vision/passing is better... and more suited to an Italian style game.

Pirlo can be a little lazy. He's capable of working much harder than what he's done at Milan (last 3 years).

To be honest, Pirlo didn't look as good as he used to in the last 2-3 years because the lack of movement of Milan's team in those seasons.

Now with Elia, Krasic, Vucinic and Matri, we will have a lot of movement which is good for Pirlo

You know......i would really like to see Xavi playing for a different team. In the EPL or Germany perhaps.
He wouldn't do as well in the EPL , it's alot more long balls that's pirlo's game.

He'd do very well I think, he's an amazing player.

Between Xavi's prime and Pirlo's prime, it's pretty close. I prefer Pirlo because of the elegance of his play.
Pirlo is class!

Yeah xavi is quicker, but even at passing, long or short I'd prefer pirlo, and set pieces as well.
