I like quality Italians. I love Vialli, Baggio, and Ravanelli. I love Buffon, Del Piero, and Chiellini. However, if you expect me to accept shitbags like Pepe, Motta, and Barzagli playing for my team, and do so with a smile on my face, then I'm sorry, I can't humor you there. As for Aquilani, he has proven nothing in his career to suggest that he is anything but a one season wonder. I like the old Pirlo; let's hope the new one proves me wrong.
I dont expect to accept those mediocre players because I dont accept them neither.
As for Aquilani, you are totally wrong, in Roma and Liverpool he was always excellent when he played. He couldnt play a lot in a row because of his injuries. This year in Juventus I think he was also very good, but what do you expect him to do ? First of all, he was playing a entire new role, second the wings were very poor and wings in 4-4-2 are the key. As you said Pepe is shitbag and the second half of the season of Krasic (who I suppose you adore) was also completely awful. But hey, let ´s just place all the blame in the italian guy, because I dont understand his serenity and creativity, so lets just assume he is lazy and dont like running.

He was very good before Christmas but horrible after that.

You have a man crush on Aquilani, and refuse to be objective. He was excellent in Roma and Liverpool? Really? He had one solid season@ Roma, and after that injuries caught up with him. Even when he played, he was sometimes inconsistent. As for his Liverpool stint, he had a few solid performances. Nothing to shout about. Wasting a lot of money on an injury prone inconsistent player just because he MIGHT provide us with that serenity and creativity of yours IF and WHEN he is fit?! Puhleeeeeeaaaazzze

Im objective. Aquilani always played very well in Roma but he injured too often. Same goes to Liverpool, where he wasnt played until he was fully recovered from his ankle. Now that he is completely recovered and had played for a year and a half without any injury apart from minor knocks, you can say he has taken off the injury prone label, it was a bad fixed ankle by Roma doctors, but properly taken care in Liverpool.
For 10M you are not going to find a better player than Aquilani (for his role). It is a steal, wether we need another playmaker in the team or not, is another thing.

Aquilani played for Liverpool?

Seriously, what special thing Aquilani got? He's got no stamina, limited vision, weak physically, and can barely defend. What's so special about him?

I don't care how he played the 1st two months when we got him, hell even Grygera has played good for 3months at times in a couple of seasons, means nothing.

Aquilani is not a quality player and doesn't belong to Juventus. He belongs perfectly to Roma, Lazio, Fiorentina not a top club like Juve. I see no Conte, Davids, Di Livio in him. I see a sissy girl on the field ala Tiago style and this is not what I want.

Probably not do it, better teams than Ireland's reserves won't spend time making their tactic to close Pirlo down and defend. It's the smaller teams at home that we should worry about more, as always...

then we need delpiero

the small teams have no clue what to do with Alex
the big teams do so against the big teams Alex will sit on the bench but against the small teams like Chievo :andy2: Alex should start

:D

and to think you didn't like me saying THIS some time ago :D

hope Juve decides to keep this guy 'cause I am starting to get worried with the CdS incessantly linking him to Milan :D
I had a bit of hopes when he first came because we were desperate to sign anyone after our painful season under Ciro. I didn't expect him to do wonders but I didn't expect him either to be this bad. He was fucking pain to watch this season.

Lots of good players are pussies. If we can get a sweet deal on this guy I'd do it.
