At the end of the day, the only reason you truly want him is because he is Italian. He is inferior to the likes of Aguero, Tevez, Benzema, and in terms of potential and the excitement factor he is surely behind the likes of Neymar and Sanchez. Take off your green, white, and red glasses, and see the truth for what it is
Then why did he need to add "and plus he is Italian" bit at the end?! Does him being Italian grant him some kind of invisible advantage that we are unaware of?

First of all im not italian (though im going to have the nationality very soon), Im argentinian. With that said, of course being italian is an advantage, because they know what Juventus represents and also current regulations make you have a minimium of itallians in the team or foreigners formed in the club.
You are being totally biased when you think that every italian player we sign is going to be mediocre and you underrate italian players a lot. You are going to have a big surprise next Eurocup.
