What's that? He was? I seem to remember gatusso as his bodyguard Pirlo is and was a playmaker a tactician in that effect yes not a complete one. Zidane was a different kind of player. A player who could play in any position and role bar keeper and be good, almost no one in the sport can compare in that regard.
When was the last time you saw Zidane play in defense? :shifty:

You describe Zidane as all-rounder? Hardly..

Thats true, but is worth a try. Maybe it can click.

He has won some CL, thats a fact. and most important, has experience coaching at higher levels, Knows the language and the team.

Im all for giving him a chance and see how it goes.
Not sure Real would let him go. With our situation, it's like he gives us a chance more than we give him a chance.

Yeah all rounder, played for chicago bulls as a shooting guard briefly too.
He had the intelligence to play many positions because he understood and read the game, better than anyone... nobody said he could be roberto carlos at LB..
Brazil ass still hurting go watch that match in 98 that there is a complete player

We're semi-broke and you guys are fantasising about all those big name coaches which will never materialize

As I said, all you can do right now is #TrustTheProcess

Having said that, If Pirlo continues to deliver worse results with no improvement whatsoever, then we'll probably dump him for some low profile Italian coach with low wages. I won't mind De Zerbi here tbh.
Finally someone makes some sense. But let's not forget the horrible start of our season. It wasn't exactly hard improving from there but we definitely did. I can see us ending in second place and sneaking a bit closer to inter, in which case Pirlo is going nowhere.
