Maybe that'll give us better results now sure, but in my opinion it is obvious that our transfer strategy has been flawed for a few years now. No matter who you bring in, if you don't fix the core issue then you're only bandaging over them.

You cant bring in a non-Italian coach mid season, puts the 10th Scudetto in great danger.

We have 5 more Serie A games until Christmas and, excluding the Napoli game, so far we've picked up 1.75 ppg, meaning we're on pace for a 67 point season. If in these 5 games we again pick up 9 points out of 15 available, just ask Allegri to come back and sort things out.

Since that Benevento draw we picked up 10 points out of 15. Yet we did have a miraculous finish to CL group stage. I think Pirlo's done enough to save his job and its probably until end of season as you either give the new coach the Christmas break or dont change at all.

But we're probably losing the Scudetto. We had a hard battle with Milan in 11/12, we had a horrible start in 15/16 and Napoli had a hell of a season in 17/18, but this time we actually might end up not finishing first. Hopefully its for a big and bright future.

But what I really don't like and what is the main reason we aren't winning anything this year is how open we are. Pirlo seems intent on sticking with this crazy system and I don't see how it can tighten up. You need to build from a solid base and we don't have one, in fact the spine of the team is the biggest weakness.

chiesa scores a great goal vs atalanta. looks confident. what does he do? bench him next game.

kulu scores vs parma? what does he do? bench him next game.

how do you expect these kids to play consistently and build confidence when they are benched every second game? i dont buy the tiredness as excuse. chiesa is 23 and kul is 20. these guys should have stamina to play 3 full games in a week no problem.
