I have a feeling that the management went after him knowing that we will find it hard to hate the guy, no matter how bad we are playing or what results we get at the start. If this was Spaletti/Sarri/Mancini, we would have all went full berserk mode.

I still hope that he will deliver, don't know why. I hope he figures this out, we have the best team in the league after all.
This. I've seen people on twitter etc claiming our team isn't the best and how can pirlo deliver with this team. Idk but for me I'd want allegri back because imo he was never given exactly what he needed

That's fair, I interpreted incorrectly. And I wish he figures it out too but imo I'd rather cut our losses sooner rather than later. If it doesn't work out, management has to fix it

I doubt it. And at the end of the day pirlo himself said he didn't want to be a youth coach at least from what I remember
I remember him saying he didn't want to be a coach at all but here we are :p. But you're probably right.

How have you been? Ready for wave 2?

Im not asking for Pirlo’s head yet, as this is obviously the risk that we took. Situation before wasnt sustainable, squad old expensive and chain smoking manager.

Some lost points are really his fault, against Roma, Crotone and the last one for example.

I don’t think that it are tactical problems for the biggest part of the team. I thought that we had a strong match vs Benevento until Pirlo killed the game with nightmare subs. Bentancur and Bernardeschi were horrible choices to bring, and Kulu is one of the few players who’s having some problems finding his place on the pitch. I thought that it would make more sense to bring him in at Ramsey’s position, and keep Chiesa at the right side.

Besides that we also seem to have some concentration issues.

We’ll face some serious tests this season, right after making some big changes at the club. Will be interesting to see if the board chooses for the long term project with Pirlo, even if we miss out on the Scudetto. Hopefully he’ll manage this situation, I’m not a big fan of swapping manager each year, and besides I think that Pirlo has potential as a manager.

By the way that Cds article seems totally fake to me, Pirlo is giving instructions throughout the game. You can always hear him nowadays with the covid situation. Of course he’ll do the same before the match.

It's been a rollercoaster. Worked through it in March through August, and I've been unemployed since. Hoping it doesn't get bad because I just cant afford for it to keep going but then again look at stupid everyone is rn. Hbu?

Idk but the entire comical defense mechanism is a HUGE tactical problem. Everyone sees it and it hasn't been sorted out at all so far.
And it won't be sorted, this whole fluid football shit shouldn't be what u start with if that's what u wanna do. We haven't conceceeded so much thankfully but still. I think had we played napoli our backline would of been exposed hard and I don't even think NAPOLI is good

I'm secure so for that I'm thankful. Working a temp job that ends in about three weeks and starting in September, but for now I'll keep taking the paychecks and worry about what to do following that when the time comes. You have a finance degree, right (I don't remember :mute:)? If you haven't you might as well submit your resume to some of the big temp agencies, I've been working from my living room this whole time for some ok money.

midfield and wingers letting us down. i'd expect much more in front of the goal from chiesa, kulu (at least he scored already), arthur, bentancur (no assist yet; last year he made 7 in the league), ramsey (was a regular goal scorer for arsenal, scored 3 or 4 for us iirc), cuadrado (at least he's keeping those assists coming in the cl, but his shooting wasn't at its best so far) and of course dybala, who's the biggest and most obvious disappointment so far this season.

The Old Lady face Dynamo Kiev in Champions League on Wednesday but have already qualified for the last-16 stage.

“The Bianconeri's work on the pitch continues unabated: Juventus met again this morning at the Training Center,” Juventus’ official statement reads.

“Tomorrow, in fact, will already be the eve of the Champions League: on Wednesday evening at the Allianz Stadium (9.00 pm), the Bianconeri will host Dynamo Kiev. Only one objective is on their mind: to repeat the first leg victory in Kiev.

“Today's session was divided into three areas of focus: possession, tactics and exercises. It should be noted that Chiellini and Demiral carried out the entire training session with their teammates.”
Both players had sustained muscular injuries earlier this month.

“Tomorrow, the Bianconeri will meet again in the morning for a new day of work on the field. At 2.30 pm, Andrea Pirlo will host a press conference at the Allianz Stadium".

I read that as they are focusing on possession, tactics and excuses
