they really weren’t. Max was the most calm, but he would lose his mind often. And he was the guy in charge when the locker room combusted in Cardiff. Can’t imagine that ever happening with Pirlo.

It’s not just about anger management though.
Conte only cared about winning the league, you could see the team gave 100% in Serie A and didn’t give a f in Europe. He was also super stubborn and never changed his tactics or personnel. Juve had a strong identity, for better or worse.
Allegri wanted to win- with any means possible. He didn’t have a system or identity but was brilliant at adapting to the circumstances and the opposition. We tried to win every trophy under him.
Sarri was the anti- Allegri. He didn’t care about winning, just playing silky smooth football and keeping possession. He also had a rigid system which he never changed (apart from the first couple of months where we used a trequartista.)

The most important thing is to have the players that suit the coaches tactics. People constantly say the the coach needs to adapt his system according to the players he have but how easy is that? Its like putting Chiellini in a CDM role and ask him to "adapt". In my opinion, we often look at coaches' tactics as something easily changed and something that they can very easily adapt to, but i dont think it is the case. We maybe need to look at it as something unique in every coach and something not so easily changable. Im talking mainly about Sarri, and how the board didnt manage tl give him the players thatbsuited his system the most and also about the players that should have made the difference but didnt due to injury or just plainly sucking (Bernardeschi).

Having this in mind, Pirlo's football phylosophy seems quite exciting and modern and something that we all love, but does he have the right players for it and more importantly, will those player that are to his liking stay fit?

Adapting doesn't mean playing Chiello cdm.
Adapting means that if you play 4 3 3 but don't have wingers, you can choose other formations, you don't need to beat the players with it in hope that they get it.
Also adapting means that if you like to play a high intensity game, but you don't have the players, adapting means you have to drop it and make you high intensity press in different periods of the game
Sarri was a suborn mule.

How are we expecting his ideas to be implemented on the pitch when he considers fullbacks to be "generals" and our fullbacks are Danilo, De Sciglio, Pellegrini and Cuadrado?? Besides Cuadrado, what offencive contribution could Pirlo possibly expect from mediocare Danilo, unproven Pellegrini, always injured De Sciglio and lazy, one-move only, receive the bal and wait 5 minutes before deciding what to do with it- Alex Sandro? We are gonna struggle because our lack of quality full backs, and Pirlo will have serious issues because of that.

Does he have the players? in some positions yes but in some not. but imo you need players who can be magical and make the difference in the big games. you need the best in each position on the pitch.

I'm interested in seeing how he fits all of the players once everyone is healthy. 3-5-2 with Dybala as CAM behind CR and Dzeko is good to get the best out of Dybala, but that means we're benching 3 out of Benta, Arthur, McKennie, Rabiot and Ramsey which isn't very realistic.

Also, how would he handle the balance with the two sitting midfielders?

Kinda wish we could go all in on 4-3-1-2. That would mean Dybala in his best position, Ronaldo in a free role up front from the left, with Dzeko creating presence in the penalty box while playing 3 of our midfielders together at the same time.
