I just don’t get it. AA can’t be this naive. There has to be someone else to tutor Pirlo. Perhaps Lippi? I don’t know.
Maybe Ronaldo is the assistant coach.

I expect us to make a silly move. I did predict a random Italian coach. But I had no idea we'd make such a silly decision.

I loved Pirlo as a player. Loved him. But we had Sarri who was a disaster and we were in a need of a top coach to wake up our team and get the best out of them. Somebody who won titles (or some huge talent without trophies) and who's still hungry of wins. Signing Pirlo however is such a stupid decision.

And please, don't even start with "let's give him a chance". We're not Fiorentina. It's Juventus we're talking about. We're chasing CL, not CL spot. There are some clubs who are willing to take risks with ex-players, but it's usually a team filled with top star players like we've seen in the previous Barca, City, Real. We're not in such place and this move makes zero sense.

The more and more I think about this the more I feel it's a mistake.

One of my all time favorite players but come on Pirlo doesn't even know what kind of coach he's going to be and will literally learn game by game.

Is he brought in to be a yes man?

Absolutely. No doubt in my mind at all that he will have no say in transfers and will have to play the hand he is dealt and he has no experience at all of doing that.

How does the fans react if we start the season poorly with like 3 wins from opening 10 games?

Do we give him time?

Ferarra talked a good game and promised attacking football but was accused of having an approach of being more of a friend of the players than an authority figure.

Will Pirlo be the same?

We have literally seen world class coaches outsmart each other in big games as if they are playing chess so what makes us think the likes of Conte won't eat Pirlo up with experience alone?

I'm not sure why everyone is getting excited... sentiments aside this is waaay too risky
Obvs

A lot of us are worried. This is nonsensical from a proffesional point of View.

All the bets are on just simply something magical happening and Pirlo being some kind of prodigy as a coach, which well, its highly unlikely.

At least the guy is cool, but i think this club was not ready for romanticism at this moments.

So Pirlo is tasked with getting us scudetto number 10 in a row and getting us deep in the CL. All I will say is that we have a handsome coach to complement our handsome players.

This is pretty bittersweet. On one hand you have a maestro who has juve DNA running through his veins, but on the other you have a totally inexperienced coach. He could be a Zidane as some people were saying, but then again he could be a Seedorf and we all know how well that worked out for Milan

Im hyped, and I hope that it’s the start of a new cycle, rejuvenating the squad and Pirlo as manager makes me really optimistic for the future.

My dream for this summer would be offloading deadwood and 3 other signings, plus Lippi as mentor for Pirlo.

I wouldn’t care to take a small step back and put faith in our youngster and Pirlo, only to get back on European top level for the years after that. As long as our finances are healthy, squad is young and motivated and Pirlo makes the right decisions.

Its a very risky move, usually these managers can’t live up to the expectations, but after these frustrating years I rather stay positive and hope for a bright future.

And I have to say I trust Agnelli a lot.

Now go to work asap Paratici.
