I remember him against Messi in that game. Tackle after tackle, interception after interception Nesta had Messi in his pocket. The one single time Messi got past him Nesta pulled a professional foul and took the yellow card with a nod of agreement to the referee. No argument or anything, complete respect for the referee doing his job as impeccably as he was doing himself.
