If he is seriously thinking about another club because they offer him a year more or more money then let him go. The max we should offer is 2 years. What if he gets seriously injuried? At Milan he kept getting injuried and we can't have that because we rely too heavily on him so I would rather give him a shorter contract or dont renew it and find an attacking option which the game could flow through

Given that Pirlo has barely been injured since joining Juve, I don't think the prospect of him getting injured would be a major factor in my thinking regarding a renewal.

Pirlo was absolutely right to demand a longer contract when he was only 31. It was perfectly reasonable to think he could play at a high level in those years, as a lot of players can retain a pretty good level to about 34.

However, once you go beyond that age you are getting into a far riskier period regarding how a player will continue to perform, and I'm sure Pirlo will understand that and not go into a negotiation with Juve expecting to be given another three year deal.
Exactly, I don't think he's any longer in a position to be making demands on the length of his contract. He's smart enough to know how old he is & that most clubs aren't going to take a risk for more than two years at a time.

When he was 31 he was still in his prime both age & skill wise, and he knew he could be fairly confident in getting a better deal than what Milan was offering.

Zach was kind of a $#@! there but there is no way Xabi and Pirlo can work out together. They're both really slow and can't defend that well.
I read your post and I think; ..it worked out just fine for Spain with Xavi, Xabi and one ball winner (what's his name biscuit or something) so similarly Pirlo, Xabi, Vidal can work out just as nicely, for sure.

You assume Xavi and Pirlo play in a similar way or role, when they don't at all. For Pirlo to take the Xavi role if we signed Xabi Alonso, it would require him to play in quite different way and higher up.

Typical English media, always underrating Italian football and whinging about mobility. They were using the same argument during the 2006 World Cup.

Modric and Cabaye better than Pirlo!?

The guy proved he's an idiot by saying Germany have a terrible system and that Klose and Gomez should play up front together.

I like Mina she knows her stuff

This is absolutely hilarious and makes me cringe at the same time. I know it's not the most intellectual response, but this what this guy vomits out of his mouth is so beyond retarted I just want him to punch in the face.
De Rossi can't run and Cabaye is as good or better than Pirlo
i remember watching this during the Euros just before Italy met england, so glad to see that stupid prick enjoy some humble pie.

Any ways there is no doubting Mina, she knows her shit
See the problem with English media is they only watch EPL and the Classico. I cringe every time i have to watch Jamie Redknapp, Twike Yorke, Paul Merson and Matt Le Tissier on Sky Sports. I dont get why Jamie and Twike do Champions league football when they dont have a clue about European football.

It's funny how most people i know that watch Serie A and Bundesliga know way more about football than 90% of those commentators u see on the T.V yet when ever i talk to english/irish people they have never heard of any one outside England or Barca and Madrid. All the people involved with British media couldn't tell u anything about the Bundesliga or Serie A they are just to in love with their own league to acknowledge these other leagues.

I think it was Matt Le Tissier on a football show on sky sports and he got asked a question who is the only manager to win WC, CL and Euro's the 3 options were Lippi, Del Bosque and Scolari i think. The dumbass said Lippi and everyone in the room was just shocked he got it wrong. At least He knows nothing about European football so he doesn't do the shows but most of them have no clue at all.
