It's easy to say that teams are putting a player on him at all times, but that should really be releasing space for one of the other players we have on the pitch and allows them to play. The collective isn't working as fluently as it should because of the poorer movement and play. Vidal wasn't as good as he should have been.

It's part of the drill. It's noticeable after a few matches. Vidal and Marchisio would go forward to free up the space for him. The frustating thing is, it usually works but the outcomes of his passses sometimes just doesn't worth it.

agreed. pirlo is a slow player and sometimes you want someone who plays a higher tempo

It completely pisses me off when he does that, as it is completely unnecessary. I saw him do that for years at Milan and with Italy and at times it does cost goals. I hoped he wouldn't do that so much at Juve and he didn't to begin with, now he has started to do it again. Just pass the ball to the fucking side, why try and take an opponent on when you have just skill and no pace?
