Andrea Masiello (born 5 February 1986) is an Italian footballer. He plays for Bari.

Juventus

A graduate of Juventus youth system, he made his Serie A debut at Juventus F.C., losing to Inter, 0–1 in home legs, 20 April 2005.
Masiello was on loan to Avellino of Serie B in 2005, along with Boudianski, where he played 41 times in Serie B and playoffs but did not avoid the relegation.

Genoa

Juventus faced 2006 Italian football scandal and forced to play in Serie B. Thus, the squad faced clearance in order to improve the financial condition. Masiello, along with Konko and Bartolucci were now joint-owned by Siena of Serie A and Juventus, for 2.25million.
After scoring no presence in the first half of the 2006 season, Juventus sold its 50% rights of Masiello and Konko to Genoa on 25 January 2007, (which previously owned by Siena and Juventus, after became Genoa and Siena) worth for €1.25million and €1million, for part of the deal of Domenico Criscito permanent transfer. He played 15 times and won promotion along with team-mate.

Genoa decided to sign Masiello and Konko permanently at the end of season, but after played 4 times, he was loan back to Serie B for A.S. Bari.

Bari

Masiello jointed Bari in join-ownership bid after 2007–08 season. He won Serie B champion in 2009 and the club decideed to buy him outright. A.Masiello was the absolute starter of 2009–10 Serie A season, after the injuries of Andrea Ranocchia, he moved to center defender position from right-back.
He only missed round 35 due to suspension after received his 4th yellow card in round 34.

Damn Marotta really is consistent with his Italians, he could get all kinds of bad press for signing way too many mediocre Italians but at the end of the day he'll still stand there signing Masiello, Pirlo and Pazienza. Berlusconi should give Marotta some kind of prize for his loyalty to Italy.

Funny how all the negative rumours become fact.

In b4 "Well, we all know it's gonna happen."

Okay, when it happens, you can criticise them for actually doing it.

OMG i remember putting him as a youngster in my PES Juve, back in the days he was still ours and now he looks so old and he is so much younger than me, someone i considered a kid, not so long time ago...
I still feel robed from the way we lost him, literally for peanuts, he was a classic ex of the players we could keep as squad players and invest on less quality players, instead of this destined to failure 5 year plan we have tried instead.

If we end up buying him again for back up, it would be such a tragic move, a clear indication of how clueless we really were and still are.
Coming in full circle, wasting millions upon millions and become worse by the minute...

Masiello is yet another example which proves that we must use our youth players much more instead of loaning them out and giving them away for nothing.

I expect to see at least Boniperti, Appelt, Marrone and Sorensen next season in the first team.

Everytime I've seen Masiello he was just unimpressive.
He's a "boring" player to watch. Nothing flashy. Good option to put in the 2nd just to defend a lead while Milos in front of him is tired and can't track back. He'd be considered a home grown player too for our CL spot the season after.
