I would love ZZ as our next coach. But what changes by hiring him? He still has the same trash midfield, striker, fullbacks to work with.

All of that isn't going to be fixed this summer nor should anyone expect it to be. It's been an issue thats been compounding over the past few years made worse by poor moves along the way.
I hear ya, man, but he’s a proven champion, both as a player and manager, with an actual brain. You don’t hire a plumber to do a carpenters job even though they both have experience building things. That’s almost as naive as hiring a banker to be a coach.

AA may have a plan, we will find out one way or the other...
He wanted a coach to use CR7's advantage in the CL and also make us more attacking orientated and beautiful to watch.
So since he was displeased, it's a good thing that he took action right away and give us maximum time of this limited available for such moves.
But here, now it's his moment, no excuses left...

It doesn't have to change immediately.

My thinking is - our next coach MUST be a proven winner. Sign that coach and give him full support and confidence. As long as he doesn't fuck up the same way Sarri did support him through everything. We don't win the CL? Doesn't matter, we try next year. But we have to change the transfer policy. If it takes 3 years to fully rebuild so be it, but that project must be entrusted to a winner.

He just either became the GOAT or signed his own death warrant. This is the biggest gamble I can ever recall someone make at a club of this stature.

Yesterday he's saying CL is an objective from now on and 12 hours later signs Pirlo as coach. He doesn't even have his own staff....

can someone explain this?

someone said that Cherubini will be CEO and Paratici CFO?

Who will be in charge of transfers?
Paratici is the sporting guy, Cherubini will be the CEO. Imagine it's 2018 again except Cherubini will take Beppe's place.

This is a revolution without much thought put into it like every other revolution before that. It could go either FUBAR or not...We will see.
The chance of things going awry is much higher than the opposite, sadly.
