To go back on topic a bit, i think i have sort of a theory about this current ‘only italian manager’ policy, it’s ofc a wild guess but i wouldn’t rule out the fact the squad itself being outnumbered by foreign players with very few italians actually starting or being indispensable for us(other than Chiellini, plus Bonucci atm perhaps) might play a huge factor in the board trying to keep an italian mindset by at least hiring a manager who is not only a ‘Yes-man’ but also primarily italian out of necessity, although he has a slightly different, more appealing philosophy(and by that i mean his views and not actual football style or something palpable) compared to your other classic same nationality candidates, whereas looking to create an core of italian player is proving more and more difficult given the lack of world class talent pool.(even if lately some talents did emerge most are still too raw for what Juventus is/was aiming for)

In the eyes of some Sarri seemed as the most logical choice in the surrounding circumstances at the time, however when that is the case perhaps it’s better to just stick with a proven winner rather than gamble on someone who’s spent most of his top flight career trying to figure out ways on how to stop Juventus’s domestic dominance.

We gambled on Conte and were given free wank mats.

Well he’s finally found a way to do that...

I knew Simone & Pippo for 30 years, I like both. Two good guys, with Lazio Simone has done a great job.”
What do i fear from Lazio is that they don't have an obligation to win. Compared to Inter they are two different teams, Inter have pressure because there is an obligation to win with Conte.

Allegri is available in the summer? We are very happy with Sarri. We’ve a strategy with him for the three years.

Have you not thought of Guardiola? At this moment in his life he is extremely happy where he is. If I am happy where I am, It will be unlikely to leave.

Conte? We wanted Sarri & we took Sarri. Conte is a Juventus legend. With Antonio the relationship is cordial & relaxed.
The challenge that Conte considered is very fascinating. He wants to let Inter win again, it is an ambitious challenge & for me having this challenge with Steve Zang is something that fascinates me.

Agnelli on his relationship with Allegri: “We met last week for a coffee, we are still friends.”

I have in my team, Giorgio Ricci, Marco Re, Fabio Paratici & Maurizio Sarri who will lead the Juventus project over the years.

Paratici is a great manager, he has shown it & still proves it. He has done a great job in the past years & also in the current year.
