A tuttosport article tells less facts about football then hello kitty, dont bother linking or reading that shit.

There is no reason to crap down on Del Neri, or Marotta, the real problem at juventus is agnelli.

When calciopoli hits, he did NOTHING to protect the team. while milan and inter were saving their asses, we just swallowed whatever came to us.
The triade went away, and were replaced with people who had completely no brain about football, secco and blanc.

After allowing them to spend big, they were finally removed and more competent people like del neri and marotta were brought in
but... without money to spend

in order to make transfers, marotta was forced to sell players, make room on wages and create a transfer budged.
Now in januari when the need is high, and the problems are obvious, Marotta ASKED for cash to do transfers and HE WAS DENIED.
without cash, he cant do anything, no one is releasing their striker or good fullback for free.

complaign all you want, the problem is agnelli. What use is he to juventus if he doesnt protect us, and doesnt put money in the team ?

A SPLUTTERING ENGINE — "A SPLUTTERING ENGINE — "The total wage bill of our squad is the sixth highest in Europe. If our results were in line with our wage bill, we would be in the quarter-finals of the Champions League every year. Juventus is a 170 million Euro a year vehicle, with great potential. It's as if we've filled the tank with diesel fuel instead of petrol and the engine has started spluttering. But we have time to put things right. During the summer we began making the first adjustments and we will complete this overhaul at the end of the season. I know exactly what I found when I arrived here on 30 June and I know everything that Marotta have done since 1 July. Are the players paid more than they deserve? They are well paid".ne with our wage bill, we would be in the quarter-finals of the Champions League every year. Juventus is a 170 million Euro a year vehicle, with great potential. Six highest in Europe I find it difficult with the quality we have as a squad due to Marrota/Del Neri Tactics and something in the water in Turin makes our bones brittle and ligaments like worn out rubberbands.

Anyone else worried about our "significant losses"? Marotta made reference to this as well. Have there been any numbers thrown around yet in terms of the financial loss come the end of the season? I know Juventus.com release quarterly updates and what not, but the latest figures would have included the mercato spending, golden handshakes, etc.

Even if it's something like 50m, these are losses that both Milan clubs consistently absorbed for years (the numbers were actually much higher). That 150m investment talk yesterday was bullshit, but like 2007, I can see them raising money by issuing more shares again. Not quite the same tactic of bankrolling the club as the likes of Moratti and Berlusconi, but it should cover this seasons poor financial results.

Fuck. Unless they open their wallet or raise cash like 2007, if we don't make CL, I see us selling someone important (Buffon).

Not qualifying to the champions league will hurt us financially big time next season. I think thats what worries our BOD.

If we're talking about a 50-60 million loses, that can easily jump to 90 even 100 millions next summer unless a miracle happens and we do qualify to the CL next season.

It's funny how this man now admits it's a "transitional year". Why not say this at the beginning of the season instead of trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes?

Girls and boys, this is bullshit. It's clear this family doesn't care anymore and I've grown tired of this "return to glory" rhetoric. Stop using Juventus as a means to pawn your shitty cars and sell the club.

Andrea, put your money where your mouth is and add some quality to this team.

being 'disappointed' means fuck all if you aren't going to contribute the way you're supposed to.

For a guy who studied at Oxford, Andrea surely doesn't pick up signals when things are in a fucking crisis. His press conference proved that.

What do you expect him to say? Admit were a sinking ship (heh, Ciro), and that the coach and squad will be fighting for their jobs? His words may effect his relationship with the players and coach and cause friction withing the club, effecting harmony, confidence, etc. Of course he is going to go to the "public relations" handbook and use all the keywords, feeding us obvious bullshit. It's part of his job. Presidents of just about every big company in the world do the same thing, except their PR department don't use the same words every time (project, transition) for 5 years.
