Yeah,

I wasn't serious about that Prince..
If you are looking for a more serious answer then probably only 2 names come to mind for recent Jan transfers,Anelka to Chelsea and De jong to City..but you're probably right, its way harder to get a good name in January

Adriano Galliani: "Zlatan Ibrahimovic And Robinho Are Gifts From Silvio Berlusconi To The Milan Fans”

--

The only excuse I’m giving you is that we’re not in CL, Agnelli. You have a big role to play if we qualify to CL next season.

You even have a bigger role if we didn’t.
Andrea is not a billionaire like Berlusconi. He is but 1 of dozens of Agnelli's who live off the family fortune. Yes he is involved with managing the family's money through Exor, but that doesn't mean he has personal wealth like Berlusconi.

Frankly, money was not the issue this summer. If we had kept Giovinco (wouldn't need Quag) and not bought Martinez, coupled with Diego's sale we would have had 27m to spend. More than enough for a world class player. Good job Marotta.

Thing is you may not get the best out of marotta had he interefered. His not used to working that way. Im not saying marotta did well or anything (far from it) but rather just the fact of providing freedom to your staff to do their job. Marotta came with a reputation, some may say it was a risk.. well atleast we now know what his capable of. Judging marotta can only be done after the market.. of course a portion of that judgement though should be reserved come at of the season once we come to know what these players ended up being.
