There are strong reports that Andrea Agnelli will become the new President of Juventus after tomorrow’s meeting.

Current President Jean-Claude Blanc has caused controversy with his triple job title, as he is also their general manager and de facto director general.

In the new set-up, Blanc would be returned to just one post, that of general manager, with Sampdoria’s Beppe Marotta brought in to act as director general.

According to the latest reports out of Turin, Agnelli will announce his appointment during tomorrow’s meeting of Exor, the family business that owns Juve.

It will represent the first time that an Agnelli family member has been President of the club since the Umberto – Andrea’s father – from 1955 to 1962.

Gianni Agnelli (pictured) and indeed Umberto were heavily involved in running Juventus, but not officially President.
