Thats one way to look at it.

The other way is they're going to come after our players and offer exorbitant wages, twice as much as our players earn.Thats when u realize that its going to be a struggle.

I think we can keep our players, the main problem will be players we are interested in. They already could pay more, now even mid-tabel team from PL would be able to do that.

Keeping players is not a problem imo.

We have only two players are really heavily targeted ( pogba and vidal )

Its not that hard to focus on two players, the only one who could leave is pogba amd i dont think he will go before he is 25 till he grow fully.

I believe there is a bubble with the TV deals for the EPL.

The numbers are just astronomical, if these are their numbers so surely the CL that consists of the best teams in Europe should make at least twice as much which they're aren't right now. Either the premier league is in a bubble or the Uefa are screwing up the top European teams out there.

Well they won't just target us though, will they? The EPL clubs will now be significant richer than most clubs in the top 5 leagues. I wouldn't worry too much, throwing money around at players is all well and good but it doesn't mean guaranteed success.

And if some players are stupid enough to leave us for teams in that overrated and shitty league, that's their loss.

I wish a UEFA Super League to be created soon.
Its simply unfair to see the Premier League to have such a gigantic advantage. The effect wont be realized now but it will be in the long term.
Whats annoying is with these pathetic PL teams is the blatant lack if homegrown talent. If there's one place the English should be investing money on its the youth structure.
One consolation is the stricter home grown rule enforcement by the PL but cant say for sure how big an impact it will have in the grand scheme of things.

I've never like the idea of a UEFA super-league. It would mean the death of most lower to midtable teams, and the end of the last remaining pieces of romanticism in the sport.

I am also baffled why people praise FFP.It has destroyed football as far as i'm concerned

Not only it has contributed to the overvaluation of transfer fees but also to the overvaluation of sponsorship deals-see Adidas deal with United. It would've never been so overvalued if not for FFP neither would their tv deals either.
Same 5-6 teams are going to dominate every year. The competitivity is lost.No fun watching the same teams win over and over again imo.

That's not really the fault of FFP though, the development towards that has started long before it was implented, it's simply a result of the commercialisation of football.

I do agree that FFP completely fails at what it tries to do. The only upside is that it hinders Sheik-clubs like City & PSG a bit, but it also makes it much more difficult for rising clubs to establish themselves (see Roma for example). These often simply need to run debts for a few years, if they're successful during that period they'll perhaps cement their place, if not, they'll go bankrupt.

So I see where you're coming from, FFP does facilitate the dominance of a few clubs, but it's not the sole, or even most important reason for it.

Its not the sole reason but its a big catalyst
It has certainly accelerated the process.

Barca and Madrid spend €200m each yr while the other lesser clubs are either facing sanctions or are forced to spend less. Its not fair to me.Its impact has gotten worse than the impact oil clubs made a few yrs ago.

IMO the whole idea behind the FFP was to make strong teams even stronger and others weaker. And they've done it.

You know what,i really thought Barca's era ended last yr..
But what did they do next? They went and spent €200m while other clubs were restricted with their expenditure coz they had to comply to FFP rules.(Not just City and PSG btw,im talking all other clubs involved too)

Now,we have to continue watching scumbag Spanish sides dominate CL every yr.

Imho the only way to make football competitive again would be to enforce a salary roof .
That will never happen in football.
