Re Dossena:=

I think I may have missed something in connexion with the Dossena speculation.

Is there any any serious intention on the part of the Juventus management in trying to acquire this player?

So far, all I've seen are quotes from the player himself implying that because of his unhappiness at Liverpool and the generally patchy appearances he has made for them, that he would welcome the opportunity to play for Juventus.

Unless someone tells me that this isn't the usual idle gossip by hacks desperate to fill colum inches, then I think we can all safely rest peacefully in our beds for many nights of comfortable sleep in the knowledge that Secco/Ferrara and eventually Morratta and Ferrara will insist that Domenico Criscito will be returning from Genoa, that Paolo De Ceglie will be staying.

Perhaps then Ciro will concentrate on :-

1. Signing a world class right back.

2. Clearing the deadwood by moving on Tiago/Poulsen, Almiron and Marchionni as soon as it is humanly possible.

3. Getting the best possible price from bidders for David Trezeguet if he is nolonger a part of the clubs future plans.

I agree with everything, but I just hope Trez can stay.

from what i know/read this whole thing started from dossena saying that he would welcome a move to juventus
obviously the fact that we were after him last summer makes it much easier for rumours to start going around

Total BS, or at least I hope so. You usually look to upgrade a cetain department, and the likes of Dossena, Grosso, De Silvestre, and all those over-rated Italians are definitely a step in the WRONG direction. Please, let's steer clear of them.

"but the chance to play in the Premier League for Liverpool may be too tempting to turn down"

What's so tempting about playing for Liverpool?
the chance to finish second in the"theverybestestleagueinthewholewideworld" is surely better than actually WINNING serie a?

Dossena is valued at 8million and if Del Piero moves in the other direction Juve will only pay 6million... So Del Piero is valued at 2 million :howler:
How about Tiago for Gerrard, Mr. Benitez? We value Tiago at 8million, but if Gerrard is moving in this direction you can have him for 6million :D

He looked like a donkey playing with Grand National winners tonight, far too rough and tough over quality for my liking. Like a higher profile Molinaro.

De Ceglie would be awesome on the left side of midfield for us, Rafa would actually play him because he has speed and defensive ability. So please trade him and pay us 5 million euros for the shipping and handling of the lump of shit known as Dossena.:D
