Andrea Cambiaso, following the muscular discomfort he felt during last night's match, underwent diagnostic tests at J | medical this morning which revealed an elongation of the rectus femoris of the left thigh. In about 7 days, new tests will be repeated to define the exact recovery times.

Cambiaso under Motta was terrible, but that was a clueless manager who clearly had his favourites. Second, he was pushed out of the team and they tried to sell to City, that has messed with his head. I'd say the club has massively contributed to his current form. I'd like to see a real coach come in and fire him up and help him grow. Under Allegri he got plenty of time, was solid and reliable, and got into the national team. The same could be said about many players. I agree that some would benefit from moving on like Vlahovic, but Cambiaso was done dirty by Motta and Guintoli. All it takes is for Guintoli to leave and for us to bring on an inspirational coach that the players will work for. This constant chopping of players has left us with this junk of a squad that yet again needs a massive cull.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt and leave room to the possibility he was playing injured
To be fair, I'd say you are right. He's quite clearly been carrying an injury throughout the second half of the season. Basically most appearances have had him going off holding his calf. It could be what has held him back physically because he has looked slow at times.

I'd like to see him under Conte who seems to bring his players up a level physically.

one of our best players around the start of the season, but extremely underwhelming 2nd half of the season. completely fell off a cliff. whether it was the injury, the city rumors, motta's famous man management or something else, i don't care. a starter for juventus cannot play this bad for this long. then again, he's a typical conte player

I really liked him at some point, but he’s been dreadful this season. He takes unnecessary risks and his decision making is very poor. Not a guarantee that he’s a Conte type of player.

If a 30m+ offer arrives, we better sell.

He literally cost us nine points earlier in the season. This was during his transfer saga to City. He must either be really fragile mentally or tried to force a move. But either way, I won’t give him the benefit of the doubt. He looks like he’s gained weight and suffers from depression. Get him some mental help or sell him.
