There are players who want to play for the manager

There are players who want to play for the club

There are players who just want to enjoy playing

There are players who just want to play to win

There are players who just want to play for themselves

Then there are players who just want the game to finish.
Let's flip it, for funzie.

There are fans who want to root for the manager (Allegrilovers)

There are fans who want to root for the club (we're stuck here)

There are fans who just want to enjoy watching football (me, post dinosaurfootball)

There are fans who just want us to play to win (Contelovers)

There are fans who just want to play for themselves (I can see your hands in your pants)

Then there are fans who just want the game to finish (ALL of us for the past five years)

Andrea Cambiaso spoke to DAZN after Juventus' victory against Verona:

"We’re fourth, we did our job today. It was a tough match because teams like Verona are difficult to face. We had a good first half, except maybe the first five minutes when they got two shots on goal, but we deserved the win."
Cambiaso: "Ankle problems? We underestimated the problem."

"BAD PERFORMANCE" – "Elimination from the Coppa Italia? We are the first ones responsible. We’re the ones who step onto the pitch, and we take responsibility because we put in a poor performance. It’s not good for Juventus, for us—it was a bad situation. Today, we did our duty."

"UNDERESTIMATED ANKLE PROBLEM" – "Physically, I’m feeling better. It’s been a complicated period since December 7 due to my ankle problem. I, first and foremost, and everyone else underestimated it a bit. It affected me, but today, for the first time, I felt better. I hope I can continue like this. The only positive thing about Wednesday’s bad result is that we now have time to recover physically and mentally and focus on Atalanta, which will be a very difficult match."

THE ATMOSPHERE AT THE STADIUM – "Playing for Juventus comes with great responsibility and pressure. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be playing here. We are all players who have earned the right to be here; we’re in the most successful and decorated club in Italy. It feels surreal, but we handled it very well, stayed focused, and kept attacking, always looking for a goal. We should congratulate ourselves because it wasn’t easy."

Cambiaso : “Scudetto? The goal is to go and take on Atalanta and next Sunday's match will be very important and beautiful. Since December it has been a bit of a strange period for me between injury and transfer rumours: I'm recovering…”. #Juventus

So it is injury that is holding him back for nearly 4 months. Jmedical :sergio: Also he implies that the transfer rumors are probably true.

Emotionally I want him to stay. But also a bit torn between him staying and an offer from EPL side that we can't refuse, say 70m.

Anyway wherever you are, stay away from Jmedical.

The transfer rumors were already confirmed true by his agent

Anyway Cambiaso is our best player. We won't get better by selling him, young and italian as well, to go out and get cash to waste on two worse players

Andrea Cambiaso's Words to Sky After Juventus-Verona

TENSION – "There are also opponents on the field... (laughs). We started by conceding two shots, and these are tough matches against teams that defend well. But in the second half, we did well."

LOOKING BACK OR AHEAD? – "The goal is to catch Atalanta. Sunday's game will be exciting to play; they are a team with a unique playing style, and it's always great to face them. Our goal will be to win."

IDEAL POSITION – "Many people ask me this question, but I’ve never been able to give a clear answer. It depends on the teams we face and the spaces they leave. I know how to adapt. Today, I had to stay deeper, provide balance, and make sure Verona couldn't counterattack. I think I did that quite well. I like helping the team, and I don’t have a fixed position."

THE LAST FEW DAYS AND MONTHS – "Since December 7, it's been a tough personal period. Physically, I’m still not at my best and trying to recover. The issue was minor but kept bothering me. Then, I had a bit of bad luck with the transfer situation, but my only real problem was physical. Today, I felt better. I'm happy with my performance because I’m learning to manage myself better, even if I’m not at 100%. I want to play at the highest level, and I have to do it even when I'm not in top shape. Today, I’m happy and will keep working on it."

Updates on Andrea Cambiaso's Injury

Good news for Juventus regarding Andrea Cambiaso's injury, who was forced to leave the field early during the team's defeat against Fiorentina.

This morning, Monday, March 17, the player visited J|Medical to undergo the necessary tests, which revealed no significant issues.

The full-back, who had come on at the start of the second half, was forced to be substituted in the 86th minute after experiencing severe pain that caused him to limp off the field.

This is also positive news for the national team, as the player has already joined Italy's training camp in Appiano Gentile, given that Spalletti had called him up for the Nations League double-header against Germany. The Italian medical staff will now assess his condition.
