That chance on 1:04 is really great if he give a first touch pass directly in Valhovic running path. That is my only note for him If I am the match analyst of Juventus. I think he is still butthurt when Vlahovic "robbed" his ball and try to chip Pepe Reina before that and blocked, then when he head the ball it hit the woodwork on the rebound

For a player in Guardiola system that movement probably already in their muscle memories when they arise

Maybe we will be up 5-0 instead of 3-0 if Vlahovic not robbed his ball and waiting for the rebound. Cambiasso instead for going alone, he pass for Vlahovic who is in a better position than him

But what position is this guy..
Yesterday he was playing as an RB in the defensive phase, then seemingly cutting inside in as an RCM/DM in the attacking phase. Cabal stayed wide on the left while Weah was the counterpart on the right. Seemed to work rather well honestly.

Gatti - Bremer

Weah - Cambiasso - Thuram - Locatelli - Cabal

Yildiz - Lil Doku

Vlahovic

I mean is he wasted back there. I don't know many fullbacks who cut inside and hit curlers like dybala.

Where do you think his best position is?
I honestly have no idea. My only concern is that motta likes the fullbacks to tuck in sometimes as cbs while others push forward. So I'm scared he's a waste if he's constantly doing that.

Even when he's coming inside to play as a dm and receive the ball.. a bit of a waste compared to being high and wide maybe

Are you saying that he can take LW/RW role? but if he takes Winger role in new system that Motta has brought he probably covers the spot where Weah played last night. I still think Motta can take the best out of Cambiaso if puts him on the flank(LB/RB) and he snatchs the ball from opponents and attacks from the sides and cross passes.

Let's be honest he is not a material for winger. After the international break Nico and Chico should be ready to start, we should move him back to fullback as Motta already did in the second half.

I think nobody really took him into consideration as a proper option at RW, he is more like an emergency backup there, basically a last resort, clearly as fullback is where he needs to be starting.
