Barzagli did not play RB because we were playing 3-5-2 switched to a back 4 when the subs were made.
Seemed like he was supposed to start out the match as a RB, but then shifted inward. Really should not be asked to run up and down the flank again though. He just doesn't have the juice for that any longer. It worked with Dani Alves ahead of him because that guy is the energizer bunny, and it might work somewhat with Cuadrado for the same reason, but he offers so little support going forward, and when he does go forward he gets caught up the pitch too easily. Should only be a CB at this point.

And we all saw that goal line save he made while playing CB

Barzagli takes Napoli swipe | Football Italia

Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli has taken a swipe at Napoli, noting “teams are more remembered for what they win than how they play.”

Juve are still competing for Serie A, the Coppa Italia and Champions League with only two months of the season left, while Napoli risk ending the campaign without any silverware, despite their early momentum.

“We’ll never be able to play like Napoli and neither could they play like us,” he told Tuttosport after the Bianconeri turned around their Champions League last-16 tie with Tottenham Hotspur.

“They’re different to us, they play a different style and are different in terms of physique.

“However, what ultimately count are the history books. Teams are more remembered for what they win than how they play.

“If it was the other way round, everyone would want to play for Barcelona or Ajax, but we have our characteristics and as long as we keep winning, that’s fine.”

Another all-timer LEGEND who I have stated is too slow over 90 minutes to help in CL action. Might have even posted or thought it at least lack of speed could hurt Juve one time in a big way during CL action. Well the man positioned himself perfectly and came up with a HUGE play to save the CL season. Bravo!

Some of you are forgetting that Son is pretty one of the fastest players in today's football, he'd out run by far most of his opponents, good thing is that his finishing and vision sucks.

Yep, thank you for a magnificent 8 years. Such a legend, but it's time to bid farewell with Gigi. And please take Chiellini with you.
