Still, Barzagli is a huge update on Legrottaglie. And it's his first bad game so far, he was really good against Inter.

I think he looked bad because the whole defense line was so bad...

True, but he is a limited defender. Was never that good of a player; just like Grosso, he shone on a few occasions and sucked in all the other games he played in. Being good is the exception, not the rule, in his case at least.

Well, he played four games so far... too early to judge...
But I don't rate him in general and up till he joined us he was less than average.
But who knows, he may launch his career at Juventus...

Time will tell...

I'd give this guy the benefit of the doubt. The entire team was terrible against Lecce; it's not fair to judge him because of that game only. We will get a better opinion of him by the end of the season.

Barzagli is neither an upgrade nor a downgrade to Legro.

Younger and not a homophobe. That's an upgrade for me.
Younger? Its not like he is 22 years old.
I couldn't care less if he was a homphobe or not. How does that make him a upgrade from Legro on the field?

Yep. You're right. Barzagli just made his pro debut with Juventus.

Stick with Brian Giggs and the Little Red Devils.

  Andy, you are forgetting that we need to keep giving players like Barzagli and Toni a chance to prove themselves! After all, they haven't had the opportunity to prove that they are and have been shit for the past 3 seasons :shifty:
