Portuguese league is not superior to Serie A. Milan and Inter would do alot of damage in that league.
milan, and inter with a decent coach, would walk into the topfour of any competition.
next season, they could challenge for the titel in any competition.

ah well, leonardo is worse then del neri so that remains to see

No freakin' way.

In England they would be below. Somewhere at our place in Serie A at the moment.

perhaps you forgot but inter kinda won the CL last year, beating chelsea and barcelona, but with a serious coach, not that clown leonardo. give them a worldclass coach and they challenge for the title in any given league

milan put everything on the serie a, and played bad in the CL, next year they'll return to their mid 2000 form

stop beeing biassed towards the epl, italy will kick their ass next year

Forgetting how a very average team in Fulham crushed us last year.Iirc that was their biggest home win of the season which actually makes juventus look worse than the whole premiership

I hate the prem especially since most of my friends are supporters of united, arsenal n chelsea but logically speaking they will be better than serie a for the foreseeable future due to owning their own stadiums, attracting bigger names, more revenue from tv rights and more sales in merchandise

When birmingham play sunderland the stadium is packed with 25-30000 supporters at least. Here if catania play brescia its like 5-6000 ppl

lets not also forget that milan couldnt score against tottenham in 180 minutes of play..a team thats currently fighting to stay 5th in the prem!

serie a champions lose to a team outside the top 4 in england

one of boas or DD should be our next manager.
those guys wouldn't be obsessed with old italian players.... they would sign some young talanted foreign players.
i wouldn't mind van gaal but i really never liked him. i doubt his decisions on defence and gk. even though he would play a 4-3-3 or 4-4-1-1
and would also want to have some foreign players

You have to take into consideration population levels. There are far more people in the Birmingham or Sunderland areas than there are in Catania or Brescia. In Italy there are teams from towns with very small populations, eg. Chievo Verona who actually do brilliantly to get the crowds that they do...

smart point!

but i also think its the general knowledge that for a fan the matchday experience at a stadium in england is better than what it would be in italy

i went to a totts bolton game in early feb and the ambience was electric..ive tried to catch a glimpse of the stands in udinese and lazio and neither fill their stadiums up entirely

i mean the game between udinese and lzio last week didnt even fill the stadium..an attendance of 24000 for a stadium that fits roughly 42000 ppl

SRSLY??!!!

considering what squad he has yeah

he basically sends his team far to offensive then gets goals against

just check his defensive record

considering his team, del neri had a better defensive rapport
Yet we have conceded more goals than any other team.

Udine has a population of around 100,000, so a crowd of about 25,000 ain't bad.

If you want to make a vaguely sensible point, look at how frequently Milan, Roma and Inter have got crowds of less than 50,000 or how Juve can't sell out a tiny little stadium.
