The more muscle you had pre-injury, the more you need to build up as well to re-balance. 6 to 9 months is standard. 6 to start training, 9 for competitive sports. Any orthopedic doctor has that as standard on his protocol and that process can be speed up, just like any predicted recovery time. The thing is this is for solely acl tears and not combination injuries, which are often the case. Those things are a completely different matter but as far as I know this is not the case with Marchisio.
Anyway, even if we count Marchisio out 'till January (which is the safest route) we're still very thick in numbers.... If someone new comes in, we'd still have 5 fucking CM subs. That is insane. I'd sell Hernanes and Pereyra.
