sure, but we have been spending quite heavily over the past 2 years as well...there will be a few players that will be leaving as well hopefully, so we could perhaps try to get someone

I think that the guy from Poland is right, our central defence is covered well enough, we should consider buying great rb and decent left winger in case the 2/3 man midfield doesn't work well. and afterall Iaquinta proved everyone wrong and has given a lot to this team, i can't see why Quagliarella/Palladino, who aren't getting much praise but indeed are talented guys, couldn't do the same.

Please no to Quagliarella. He really isnt the one we need, not to mention that he is overrated. And if we make money from selling trez, we should invest it in other departaments, but not attack.

Quagliarella is overrated? LOL - in this season - 13 goals in Serie A (4 assist), 8 goals in UEFA CUP (1 assist).

Palladino? No thanks. Since he came to Genoa he's scored only ... 3 goals.

You think that Del Piero (35 years old!), Iaquinta and Amauri enough?

Giovinco is not forward, but midfielder - he's good on the wing or as an alternate Diego.

Quagliarella is very versatile. We have a lot of high attackers - Iaquinta, Amauri, Trezeguet. The latter will certainly go out in this summer. Del Piero is now slowly and growing weaker, so we will Quagliarella, who can play multiple positions.

Age was never a problem for Alex.

Never WAS been. But you see now is because since the end of calendar year 2008, Alex played poorly.

While hewill have 50 years to you also say that age does not play the role? ;-)
Age and nature are not deceived, 15 years playing at the highest level can know about yourself at the end of their careers.

Alex no longer drive our team. Quagliarella is speed, agile, has a strong shot and he plays multiple positions. On he played in Italy NT, Lippi is confident it has to be so good.

I not saying that Alex has to be sold or planted on the bench. I hope that he will go to the World Cup in 2010, but I look at REAL situation. Alex does not provide us with quality in attack throughout the season. He is a very good played, when he fall from bench, and can be a star in this way, a team will benefit. I wish to Cassano in his position to the basic composition, but I will not crying when we buy Quagliarella.

No, no.. your saying it all wrong
Explain your thing with the Fiat Punto
Ah, you mean that not every Italian player is a Ferrari as there are many Fiat Puntos amongst them. For example for every Del Piero (Ferrari), there are numerous Bachinis and Baioccos (Fiat Punto). Quagliarella and De Silvestri fall somewhere in between; maybe not a Fiat Punto, but definitely nowhere near a Ferrari.

I exceeded 500 posts and got my first ball :touched:  :weee:

Give the money to transfer it will buy the same Ferrari. I played in the attack will Messi, Etoo, Benzema, Ibra, Torres, Villa and Giovinco ofc ... only come to the bench?

Understand that, by we buy Diego fir 25 million euro, we don't have a next 25 million already on Tevez. Therefore hope that we buy a representative national team - Quagliarella.

Then the team will be in the rotation - Del Piero / Quagliarella - Amauri / Iaquinta.

De Silvestri will be a great defender, recently even received a compliment from Gentile and Lippi :)

Spoko stary! : D

Trezeguet is better than Quagliarella, yes, but he leaves Juve and you're not there to advise. I think that after the departure of Ranieri something will change...
We need to find a Treze's successor, if he leaves and Quagliarella is an excellent candidate, in my opinion.
