i try my best to translate some important points that Blanc said to a Chinese media(tom.com)

1.although Juventus cant participate in the coming CL. But Juventus will try other ways that can let more people all around the world know Juventus. For instance, juventus demands the sales of the license of TV broadcast must to public TV channels , not to subscribed channels.

2.Juventus plans to open football training schools outside Italy.

Very good Blanc. Just look what made Real (Mardid). Their channel can be watch all over the world. They make everything to popularize the club and we should follow model. And for the football schools - too many clubs have make this longtime ago. :agree:

Is this true or is it just PR Bullshit? All the places I have seen Juventus channel on have been prescribed channels. In fact the only football channel that is free that I have seen is Real madrid channel and to be honest its pants

In China, it's still free to watch almost all sports events in a national channel.
but in hong kong , i must subscribe for a sports channel to watch football games.

i was talking about world wide and asking the question in general as i know very little about Juventus channel but I seriously doubt the veracity of his statement that they demand it is shown on public channels. Milan, Roma, Inter, Manchester United, Chelsea channels that i know of are not free

Blanc wasn't talking about juventus channel, what he mentioned was that the broadcasting right of the home matches of juventus should be given to a public channel which is free of charge.

in fact, i think Juventus did little to popularize the club before, didn't like Man U,Real,Barca,Liverpool , Milan or even Arsenal...what a shame!!

i don't know what's happening in other places, but in hong kong, Juventus has only a few fans, far lower than that of Arsenal, Liverpool ...not need to mention Man U,Real,Milan and Barca. And in mainland China, Inter is more popular than Juventus.

it's time for the new management to make Juventus more internationalize!!
though i think it's more difficult to promote the goodwill of Juventus after last year's scandal.

AFAIK, Juventus Channel is not free either. You have to pay to see it. I'm guessing the sports package that I'm subscribed to, pays to show Juventus Channel.

Barca, Man Utd, Real are more well-supported than Juve unfortunately
How exactly do you know? If you mean by official members, Barca, Real, Man United and Benfica have more only because JuventusMember is only two weeks old.

Also, I read in Tuttosport that Juventus has 78 million fans in China:shocked:!!! Is this true???

the free to air channels would not be able to afford the brodcasting rights thats why cable companies show these games as they charge a fee so that they can recoup the broadcasting rights which is pretty huge and ridiclous these days

unfortunately, there's will be no free to air channels showing Juventus,Milan and Inter's home games , because the broadcasting rights were bought by cable companies:D

Juve has a potential of 81 millions of fan in China; 60kms far from Shangai, a new Juventus Club is being opened by about 400 supporters.
I think these "moves" (home matches on the public TV, the friendly with the China Olympic Team) are great to enhance the number of our fans in China, that will gave to the company a lot of popularity and moneys we need to compete with the other biggest European teams.

In Italy it's hard to have the top players because of our financial laws (if the player gets 5mln euros, Juve "loses" 10mln euros, while in Spain and England 2mln euros for example), but in Italy we have a thing that in Europe a few people have: the competence :)
