Juve has a potential of 81 millions of fan in China; 60kms far from Shangai, a new Juventus Club is being opened by about 400 supporters.
I think these "moves" (home matches on the public TV, the friendly with the China Olympic Team) are great to enhance the number of our fans in China, that will gave to the company a lot of popularity and moneys we need to compete with the other biggest European teams.

In Italy it's hard to have the top players because of our financial laws (if the player gets 5mln euros, Juve "loses" 10mln euros, while in Spain and England 2mln euros for example), but in Italy we have a thing that in Europe a few people have: the competence :)[/QUOTE]I didnt understand a single thing you said there, can you please clarify as I don't what you mean by Itlay has competence which other Europena teams supposedly don't have and what do you mean by " if a player gets 5m, juve "loses" 10m" ?

I can explain the money issue.

In Italy if a player gains X mount of € per week, the club's actual expenses are twice the amount where in England and Spain it is less than that. This is why the clubs in England and Spain can afford paying higher salaries.

Perfect! My English is too elementary, but I live in Italy and this is "normal" :D I hope to live for a while in England to learn English :p

In Italy we have this problem, but anyway we have good teams because our managers are more qualified than English, French, Spanish, German.. This is the reason because Milan has Kakà and has payed for him only 10 mln (while for Pato, Internacional wants 25mln :D).

in fact, i think Juventus did little to popularize the club before, didn't like Man U,Real,Barca,Liverpool , Milan or even Arsenal...what a shame!!

i don't know what's happening in other places, but in hong kong, Juventus has only a few fans, far lower than that of Arsenal, Liverpool ...not need to mention Man U,Real,Milan and Barca. And in mainland China, Inter is more popular than Juventus.

it's time for the new management to make Juventus more internationalize!!
though i think it's more difficult to promote the goodwill of Juventus after last year's scandal.

Although I 100% agree with you that the management should do more in this field, isn't it just amazing how juventus is followed and supported all around the world compared to those clubs who are putting so much effort in popularising their team?

Is it a governmental law or an FA one?

Government, here in Belgium we have the same. Foreign players have to pay less taxes. The consequence is that homegrown players are overlooked and all teams are swamped with foreigners but because Belgium is small and their teams suck they can only buy secondrate players. They are set to change this because of the decline of the national team. Italy has an excellent nt and big clubs but it's getting harder to compete with Spain and England.

Juventus has 78 million fans in China?? i doubt..
In hong kong, Juventus is one of the top ten favourite clubs.

Who are the favourite clubs?

Juve are one of the biggest European teams. You could argue only Real Madrid are bigger.
