Amir unites Pakistan and India? Someone should tell Preet and Melo :D

I think Peterson is going down, although I hate betting on boxing, a sport where you can lose in one fricking punch.

I dont think he does :D Just like the guy coz he's a good boxer and a character. Plus he is my manny's sparring partner and i want him to get ready asap and smash gayweather.

And there is no way pakistan can claim him in any way :D

Oh shit, I remember Peterson. Doesn't he have a brother too?

Peterson's really good though, no shame in losing to him. I really liked him the couple times I've seen him. Very complete fighter.

Khan was throwing all he could. Bother fighters told to go for the knockout in the last round, awesome fight.

And fuck khan for losing me all the money. Peterson was good but in no way was this supposed to be a close fight, let alone a split desicion loss for khan. Boxing legends where hailing khan as the best pound for pound fighter on the planet a couple of days before this fight :howler:

I like khan but he is not ready yet. Being manny's sparring partner i was hoping he matured quick.

    Great fight though.

Khan's whack, he's a decent boxer. Got too overhyped. Not that surprised he lost to Peterson, I just don't wanna sound like a "told you so" type. Didn't know he beat Cotto though, that's impressive even if Cotto hasn't been himself since that first Margarito fight.

Fuck, I used to follow boxing now I haven't for a couple years. I miss it.

:sergio: He beat the other Cotto, I'm a retard. Yeah, Khan's overhyped.

I used to follow almost all fights during the times of Tyson-Evander Holyfield-Lewis era. Havent been following shit since than. I only watch Manny and mayweather fights.

The heavyweight division has lost the charm/talent. A russian at the top makes things boring and there is no rambo to take him down.

Heavy's shit. The welterweight was very exciting for a while, now it's meh. Before that it was the middle with Hopkins, Toney, Jones, etc. They keep getting smaller in weight. I was too small to witness the heavy in its prime but I can say it definitely looks exciting from what I've seen. No more boxers however .

Well i havent seen Tyson in action (in his prime) but i do remember watching him bite evander's ear off :D Also the fight in which hashim rahman shocked lewis (and then got smashed in the rematch)

I wish i was there to watch tyson live in his prime.

Boxing's losing it's appeal, there are no real champions who would defend the belt multiple times (against quality opponents). Now when the champ fights,i usually have to look up his opponent's name and his previous fights.

Exactly, but that's also because there's too many champs and belts. They should go back to one. Kill all these different sponsors too, there should only be one governing body.

    Yep :agree:

Something that Dana White is doing, buying off all little organisations and merging the belts.

How the fuck can someone like david haye be a heavyweight champ :sergio: that just shows heavyweight's decline.

Khan was too defensive after initially battering him. Peterson threw loads of punches but they didn't have any power. He probably didn't deserve to lose on points but you know how it goes when you go to someone else's back yard, you have to batter them and the ref then hope that you don't have judges like Derek Chisorah got in Finland.

The mental side of his game needs to smarten up. It's ok him taking a couple of losses because he is 25 and will come back, and he definitely isn't 'whack', he's one of the best talents in boxing, but he should stop that talk about Mayweather because right now that looks a joke.

He's also not massively popular in Britain, maybe because he is an arrogant Pakistani, at least that's how they see it. That's the reality with society. Britain likes loveable tryhards, like Frank Bruno, Nigel Benn etc. David Haye isn't liked, people were quite apathetic even to Lennox Lewis because he turned more American by the day and his varied background, but they were of course proud to claim him as a British world champion lol.
