I don't think he is eligible until 2021, which given the Colts situation, is probably the best news this kid has heard in a while. He is much much more than that fanbase deserves.

And he played the right way. In spite of his mild mannered persona, he was tough. As Richard Sherman said, he had to have been beat up pretty badly to walk away.
You are correct, Lawrence becomes draft-eligibile only for the 2021 season. It all depends on the Brissette situation, however, when the Colts may go into tank mode - this year or the year after. Doubt Ballard is delusional enough to think Brissette is a franchise QB but one never knows for sure.
Would also depend on whether they really like one of the 2020 QBs, e.g. Herbert, or not. If they do, they may go up and take him, should they get the chance. Can't put all your eggs in the Lawrence basket as he might not even declare for 2021 draft.

What's the chances that my boy Christian Wade makes the Bill's roster? Slim to none?
Always thought he would make a good RB, rarely seen a rugby player with that combination of speed and ability to escape players in tight spaces. He never had much of an international career because he's too small and a target for the high ball, all rugby wingers at that level are 6'2" plus.
Anyway, it's a lot to learn in such a small period of time. For example you see him running into open field rather than towards his blockers, old habits...
If this deep into the pre-season he is still on their 90-men roster, that means he doesn't suck, otherwise they would have replaced him already.
Bills have a lot of RBs competing for 4-5 spots, however, so it doesn't seem likely a player, who lacks experience at the position will win a roster spot outright. If he shows promise, however, he may well make their practice squad, which is usually how international players find their way into the NFL.
