Wonder how much jail time Kraft will get and if Goodell will make him sell the team. If this was NBA, he’d definitely have to sell.

But as long as Brady and Belichick stay, they should be fine.

It’s a misdemeanor so probably no time. NFL could come down on him pretty hard, they made the Panthers owner sell after sexual allegations.

over a rub n tug? Seriously? They literally found a dead hooker in Jim Irsay's house, who had overdosed on his drugs and Irsay got suspended a couple of games ...

You need to look up this "definitely" thing - I don't think it means what you think it means :D

That Richardson thing had gone on for years and took place at NFL offices. His selling the team probably prevented many other things from coming out - the NFL just put a lid on bigger shit before it hit the fan.

I mean someone had to sell their team for saying the n-word (although that was in the NBA). It’s up to the rest of the owners ultimately. And The Jim Irsay situation is different because he wasn’t there when she OD’d.

That with the NBA was a business-driven decision - when a minority race(s) constitutes 90% of all your players and a huge part of your fanbase, you don't have much of a choice but show no tolerance for even the hint of racism at ownership/management level.

I honestly doubt there is much of a chance of players and fans boycoting NFL games because an 80 yo old widower decided to over-celebrate a SB win with a rub-and-tug.
Bad judgement and optics, sure, but nothing deserving more than a fine and maybe a two-game ban on hanging out with Bon Jovi at Gillette.

P.S. Yeah, I am sure that hooker broke into Jimmy's mansion and stumbled upon his stash all by herself :p

That’s why I said could. Apparently this was part of a pretty expansive human trafficking bust. So my guess is it will depend on how bad the media push that narrative.

Also, this net apparently caught way bigger fish than Kraft. My biggest question is why are billionaires getting $56 trucker specials when they could be getting that primo escort service.

It's the massage parlor that had been the subject of investigation in trafficking and whatnot. Kraft is just one of a couple of hundred customers, who are being charged with simple solicitation. That is all. Nothing to see here other than Kraft being the one (for now) famous name on that customer list.
Had he been somehow involved in that trafficking ring, potentially having to sell the Patriots would be the least of his problems. Not the story here, though, to the chagrin of the media and Patriots haters.

You will see that, years from now, there will be more details coming out on the Richardson story - no NFL owner will be forced to sell a multi-billion dollar company over slapping a secretary on the ass cheeks, 10 years ago.

He’d still have a franchise if he had slapped her in the face.
