Rodgers is 8 of 12, so he's making throws, but he's just not taking shots downfield. 37 yards on 8 completions is pretty silly. I mean, part of it seems to be that his receivers aren't getting open, but part of it just not gambling, and eventually he needs to start trying to fit balls into tight windows downfield.

About Lacy, the dude needs to lose some weight. I don't care how much he denies it, and the Packers deny it. He looks incredibly slow and lazy when he runs this year. Looks ridiculous. Look at how much better Leveon Bell looked in the pros once he lost 15 lbs he'd been carrying at MSU in College. Lacy needs to drop 10-15, if not 20 lbs, and gain some of his quickness back.
Broncos D is good. Not buying the "they are historically great" BS as they have played mostly just shit offenses, but they are good enough for the opposing QB to not wanna get sloppy and careless ... or he will easily lose the game.
Pack O is just not clicking for one reason or another. As you know, I don't have sky-high expectations from Rodgers in away games but they are better than this. So far this season, they have looked stoppable even in home games unlike the juggernaut they were last year. Maybe it's just a matter of defenses taking notice and making the proper adjustments for the Pack's passing O.

Bell was no where near as heavy coming out of college but yeah, slimming down made a big difference for him. Lacy's style is different and he needs to be on the heavy side ... but his current weight is way over the limits of the acceptable and has become counter-productive.

I know :D it was a pretty good game, Carr has been good since last year and he's just getting better. Next week we'll pay a visit to Steelers, it could be a decisive game if everything goes the way @acmilan said.

You still have time to turn things around.
if I said it, of course it will  :D

Raiders need to keep their pass-rush just coming and coming at Ben. Doubt he is fully healthy and probably will be limited in his mobility inside and above all, outside the pocket. If your offense produces and the D keeps Ben scrambling, you guys have a pretty decent shot, me thinks.

Today vs the Jets was a very important game in the race for a wild-card spot - you won but also managed to potentially cripple them at the QB position for awhile.
A win vs the Steelers in Pitt will be really hard to get but would be invaluable in a potential face off for a wild-card spot.

Yeah. I mean Rodgers has been historically good as far as statistics go for the last 6 years. His passing yardage, ypa, tds, lack of interceptions... etc. And he looked very good over the first few weeks this season, through the game against the Chiefs, but starting with the 49ers, and for the 3 games since now, he just hasn't seemed in synch with his receivers, and the offense looks terrible.

I don't see it as defenses figuring Rodgers out finally after 6 years... I suppose the Packers are leading the NFL in missed games this season, somewhere in the 70s... but, he still seems to be lacking confidence to throw the ball downfield this year and it's really frustrating to watch. Especially tonight, with Davante Adams back, who is a deep threat. Oh well. I'm hoping they figure things out before they get into the brunt of the divisional schedule. It looks like Minnesota could actually pose a challenge this year.

@acmilan

Funny thing, Rodgers passer rating was 4 points higher on the road this year going into this game. And completion percentage 5 points higher.

2013 and 2014 he was much worse on the road in all statistical categories. Passer rating dropped off like mad...

But 2011 and 2012 he was actually better on the road, with 43 tds and 5 ints, as opposed to 41 tds and 9 ints at home.

Plus the 2010 playoffs being almost perfect as the road team for 4 games to win the super bowl...

But since 2012 it's crazy the drop off in his road game play, as opposed to at home.

Well, Jets will be better off playing without a QB - that's how good Geno is :D

yeah, I don't follow the pack that closely to be able to even try to pinpoint the reason for such a drop off. He did have issues with the OL for some stretch prior to 2014 but last year his OL was one of the best in the league and the drop off was as stark as ever - thru week 12-13 last year, Pack averaged 39+ pts at home, 20-21 away. And all his WR and RBs were healthy too. Go figure.

This year, Pack had played just 2 away games (prior to the one tonight) and in those they faced some cupcake matchups (Bears and 9ers), so I wouldn't look for any sort of conclusion out of those two games alone.

Looking more and more like November 29th at Mile-High is the big day in the AFC this year. The Pats are legit. The Broncos look legit, but it's hard to tell. Manning still has more ints than tds... but the offense looked pretty smooth tonight, and that pass defense and pass rush is beastly... Not too sure about the run D though. Brady vs that defense should be a battle.

Colour me excited to watch that game.

With regards to tonight, how the Packers react to this demolition and absolutely appalling performance will decide the whether the season collapses or they can make a run at the SB again. It was the same thing with the Pats last season after the Kansas City blow out where Brady was pulled for Garoppolo after one of the worst performances of his career. Rodgers was fucking terrible tonight. How he responds will make or break this season.

Here's hoping for a Brady and Pats type of response! Damn those Pats. @acmilan :p

Those Pats :D

tonight's game wasn't close for one reason only, imo - GB just couldn't stop the run. When Peyton is barely half the Qb he was this time last year, if that, this is the one thing you need to do as a D. Stopping the run would make the Broncos offense one-dimensional and will put the pressure on peyton's shoulders. It's not by chance he struggled so much throwing the ball till tonight - Broncos hardly ever got their run-game going in any of the previous 6 games and Peyton looked average at best.
Instead, Broncos put up 160+ rushing yards and Peyton could feed off the play-action all night.

don't wanna sound cocky but I am not really worried about Pats visiting the Broncos. Brady has played a number of times Wade Phillips Ds and he'd ripped them to shreds with far fewer weapons than he has this year. Pats O is more multiple and versatile than the Pack and matches better imo vs the Broncos D (or the LOB, for that matter).

At the same time, BB has Peyton's number and will know how to stop the Broncos attack with a very improved and talented Pats D.
All I hope is Pats not to lose any more players to injury. If they manage that, only Pats can stop the Pats :p

Tonight, Rodgers was about 1/16th of the QB he was last year.
well, I don't wanna go into numbers, but he sure didn't play well. :p

if the Pack D had stopped the run and put pressure on manning to win it with his arm, the game would have been much closer score-wise, leaving the Pack the option to lean on the run more so than they were able to being behind 2-3 scores for the bigger part of the game.

with Peyton in his current state, stopping the run is the one thing an opposing D must do vs the Broncos.

In the meantime, "integrity of the game" is as important as ever to the NFL front office and the Colts:

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/11/01/injury-reporting-rules-leave-little-wiggle-room-for-colts/

Here's the official policy/rule when it comes to injury reports:

All players with significant or noteworthy injuries must be listed on the report, even if the player takes all the reps in practice, and even if the team is certain that he will play in the upcoming game,” the league’s policy regarding injury reports states. “This is especially true of key players and those players whose injuries have been covered extensively by the media. This policy is of paramount importance in maintaining the integrity of the game.

Another "wristband" found it's way into a Steelers game this season, this time on the bengals' sideline:
