3rd stringer baby, pressed into action because last week David Carr threw a couple of the worst passes I've ever seen a professional QB throw.
Actually, I question whether Carr could be successful in the CFL. T. Smith looks like a much better athlete so far.
Either way, San Fran is in big trouble. We'll see how this game goes, though... Denver didn't even arrive in England until Friday. Could have some serious jetlag issues.
Of course, given the 9's current record, odds are that it would be more productive for the 49ers to lose out.
