OK. What point are you trying to prove here? That I stated that he is very raw and has all the measurables, but needed to be coached up? I said that already last year and just said it again today.

And tell me why you were drooling over Ansah earlier this year, even posting a youtube video of him when he has played a total of 8 games his entire college career?
back then Ansah wasn't projected a 1st rounder, actually the time I wanted Ansah, he wasn't projected to even be drafted, that's how raw he was.
and DEs are easier to coach up to that next level - WR and CB/S along the Mike LB are the most diff positions to learn as they involve a lot of play reading, require instincts and technique.

Plus, you don't me see me waving my hard-on for Ansah left and right, do you? :D ... that's because I fully realize that he would be a risky pick and may well bust out ;)

man, the raiders got really shafted in that trade, imo ... real shocker that they keep picking near the top year after year.

I just realized that I have a zit on my nose that is starting to have a mind of its own.

I say Chance Warmack or Shariff Floyd to Tennessee

- - - Updated - - -

Chance Warmack it is

- - - Updated - - -

If the Chargers don't run to the podium with Sharrif Floyd's name on the card, I'm really going to think that the Niners absolutely have to trade up now

that's who I had going to Tenn too

Floyd or Star L, imo with an outside chance for an OL but think DT would provide the best value here from all available options.

I like Floyd but don't think he is that diff than several other DTs tbh to warrant a big jump up. Good player no doubt but he was being heavily overrated by the "experts" mocking him in the top 3.

If the Raiders do end up getting Floyd with this 12th pick, the Raiders, for the first time in 10 years, would have actually made a good trade

Flukker to the chargers - not a good pick imo. I think he was more of late 1st or even earlish 2nd round talent. Plus, DJF is a run blocker of a RT not that good in pass protection which is what that Charger offense is known for.

I'd have taken a DT here as that position gave much better value at here and take the OT in early 2nd.

That's what happens when there is a run on a position that you covet. You dislocate your shoulder reaching so badly.

Hey the Raiderettes. The only good thing about the Raiders.

should have gotten more out of Miami imo - they were depserate to move up for one of the few playmakers in the draft. 9 spots up in that early part of the table? gotta be worth more than a midish 2nd, especially when your trading partner really wnated to move up.

If I were Geno SMith, I'd be looking for the nearest possible exit right now

Wait. What?

D.J. Hayden?

Please Please Please trade up San Francisco.

In hindisght, they didn't get equal value, but obviously they had their eyes on Hayden.

He's there with Bailey and Austin. Why would he leave?

- - - Updated - - -

Oh I get it. Yeah I was cringing at the thought of him going to Oakland. Now to withstand the Jets.

no hindsight here - I was laughing as soon as I saw that trade. Leverage was on their side in that piece of biz - Miami just wiped their ass with the Raiders. Knowing the Raiders, watch them use that extra pick they got in the 2nd on a 5th round talent of a DT

- - - Updated - - -

If Geno Smith doesn't go here, he might end up not being taken in the first.

Buffalo is hellbent on Ryan Nassib
hope you are right and orange turns out to be redder than blood :p

If they had gotten FLoyd, who was projected as Top 5, it would have been a win-win for the Raiders. Granted they could have gotten more, but they wanted to move out of that pick

Poor Geno. I can sense it.

Either that or Eifert.

Looks like he's gonna fall out of the first. Nothing to worry about. He'll develop better with less pressure.

good picks by the Jets - Milliner and Richardson. They probably needed a pass rusher more but with mingo and Jordan gone, maybe they got scared of taking a chance on Jarvis Jones with his less than stellar workouts. I think J. Jones would have been a good fit for the Jets.

At this point, if he is there when San Francisco picks, I would love to see them trade out of the first, and pick up a 2nd this year and a first next year so that a team can grab Geno.
