We couldn't re-sign Mario or make any other major additions. I thought we were just under. Winston saved us 5.5 million and Matty Checks another 3.5. I'm guessing they had to sacrifice Winston to keep Myers and Beisel. And maybe try for a FA wide out like Meachum.
We draft guards and tackles in the 4th round every year so maybe one of the new guys is ready?

Giants front office making things happen as they always do. They re-signed Terrell Thomas and will let Aaron Ross walk. They cut useless Brandon Jacobs and are now working to restructure Baas' contract.
I was livid at the front office last off season after letting Boss and Smith sign elsewhere (both were Eli's favorite targets). They didn't draft the OL or RB they needed and then the injury plague hit our team like no other. Yet they had the depth at the right positions to win it all.
Maybe Jerry Jones and Dan Schneider should keep doing what they do
