0-4, baby. 0 -5 this week even with Kevin Kolb Starting for the egggggles.

Say HELLO to Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallet , or Jake Locker.

And say hello to Jon Gruden or Jim harbaugh next year, too.

And say goodbye to black jesus and "the only reason why i'm a somewhat famous quarterback is because I married a hot Oakland Raiders Cheerleader"
It's going to be interesting to see exactly where we finish. I never would have anticipated 0-4. I thought that even with a question mark at QB, this team was good enough to make the playoffs. It's not over yet, but it's a borderline pipedream. Only thing keeping the 9 alive are the future division games in the NFC West.

Yeah buddy, things aren't looking good right now. It was painful watching Singletary's press conference... where, amongst other things, he tried to explain why he didn't bring in some competition for Alex in the offseason... If we could throw the ball with any consistency right now, we'd mop the floor with Philly.

If Kolb starts though, we've still got a chance. McCoy has a broken rib as well.

I have DeSean in my pool... 3 fucking targets before the final drive of the game, and Kolb missed him on a wide open 40+ yarder... just flat out missed. Jackson was fucking 15 yards clear pretty much the entire game; I was riding my bike (on a trainer) and screaming at the TV for what felt like the entire second half.

Guy wasn't seeing the field well, and has no sense of what constitutes a proper progression. Looks up, if his primary WR is not open after two steps, he's immediately checking down to the TE, or a back (mostly McCoy), without fail.

As a former WR, that drives me batshit crazy. Philly's got players who can stretch the field, but I doubt Kolb will find them. We'll see.

Because I said that, now he'll probably go for 350, & 4 TDs. Something stupid.

Nice debut for T. Mays, btw.

Nice!

But yea, too bad that SF blew another lead
Nate Clements kills me. He's just so ridiculously overpaid. Does Roddy White have to flat out embarrass him EVERY time we play the Falcons? Tuck that fucking ball away, you jackass.

with the exception of the last couple minutes, he was actually pretty good (although I only saw the 1st half. Streamin' it).

Rams suck...
Yes, yes they do. But Bradford's started much better than I thought he would. Fuck, if we could have only picked the right QB with our #1. Add Rodgers to this offense, and the 49ers are a championship contender.

But Matt Schaub is gonna get his. So is Jacoby Jones. :D
Is Jacoby healthy this week? I think I saw that he left the game sunday? hamstring, or something? Can't remember. Schaub's my starting fantasy QB, and I need these Houston receivers to get healthy already.

I didn't do my monday morning qb but I can tell you that NE put on a special teams and defensive show tonight. WOWOWOW
Fucking goddamn Miami special teams cost me $10 tonight (although I would have won $26 + $10). Nice little parlay to keep the game fresh. Had New England plus the under... which was looking very doable until those two fucking instatouchdowns to start the 2nd half... I knew I was sunk. Henne made a couple fucking brutal throws late which made things really ugly. Bah.

Already on Green Bay and Atlanta for next weekend. :D

I think the Niners will give Philly a fight. Philly's defense is horrible so points will be scored. Just shut down Desean and you're good to go.

I'm kinda hoping they don't at this point.

Hey is it too much to ask for a REAL QB in the draft this year, considering the last good one they've had was Jeff Garcia, whose claim to fame besides being a multiple Pro-Bowl QB is being married to the incredibly hot Carmella DeCesare.

I remember when everyone, including the idiot savant known as TO thought that he was gay. May every male be as gay as Jeff Garcia if it means that you end up waking next to Carmella Decesare every morning.

I think its still an organizational problem in terms of coaching and personnel management. Signing a FA like Clements such a huge contract was dumb, not investing in a QB years after Smith proved that he is not NFL caliber, and then instead of keeping one of the premier OC's in Martz and getting the type of players that he needs to run his scheme contributes to the current condition.

But the NFC West is such a joke that SF can still win the division if they aren't careful :D

And yes, Garcia's wife is the hottest playmate I think I've ever seen

Jeff Garcia, CFL wonderboy. There's no doubt we need a QB, but I still want the W's... just can't stand losing. Also, I'm not schooled well enough of the college QB's to know if any of them represent that 'sure thing' (if a 'sure thing' even exists).

By the time we've got a decent QB (if we draft and develop), Frankie's going to have some serious miles on him. Would be nice if we could grab a big arm in FA, but there aren't really any options that I can think of.

Undrafted, paid his dues in the CFL, and eventually became an NFL pro-bowler, with 2 kids (pretty sure I remember reading that she's pregnant with a 3rd) by a ridiculously smokin' hot playmate.

Well done Mr. Garcia, well done.

Running Backs are much, much easier to find than QB's. Couldn't care less if Gore is past his prime by the time they have a franchise QB.

Its addition by Subtraction for the Patriots, to be perfectly honest. Aside from the game against the Jets, it looks like he doesn't even give a shit anymore. They have been phasing him out of the offense for the past 2 weeks anyway, targeting Aaron hernandez and Brandon Tate.

He's been a problem in the locker room since the beginning of the season, and the coaching staff have had enough.

The patriots, with their young defense, probably weren't going to end up being Super Bowl Caliber.

Now, with 2 picks in the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd rounds in a draft next year that is going to be even more loaded than last year, the Patriots have put themselves in a very envious position for the future.

With the CBA expiring right after the draft, and witha rookie wage scale on the horizon, you can bet that a lot of underclassmen will be declaring for the draft to try and get that one last money grab before the system changes.

Very shrewd move for the Patriots for the future. They had no plans on re-signing him anyway.

I figured as much that the Pats knew what they were doing by making this move. Too bad Peoli wasn't on either end of it, thus making it somewhat questionable.

What this does is weakens the Pats at the receiver position. I know Brady has thrown to no-names (minus Troy Brown) his entire career prior to 2007 but I guess we'll have to wait and see how much of a beating Welker can/will take. Edelman and UF great Hernandez aren't big time yet either.

We shall see. But on the other end, Minn gets a great target for Favre in Rice's absence. Once Rice returns in week 6 or so then the rest of the NFC may be in trouble.

You're right, it does weaken them at the receiver position, and its true that Tom Brady has won with less than stellar WR's in the past.

The difference though, is that at least the defense was more than capable with all of their veteran leadership to help them get over the top.

There isn't that leadership right now on the defensive side of the ball, and that being said, I don't think the Patriots wanted to deal with that headache for the whole season if they felt deep down that they didn't have the defense to compete for a Super Bowl.

Yea NE has a lot of young players on defense but they are a all highly rated coming out of college. It could turn into a solid group in the next few years.
