7. Post content
We wish to set a certain standard for the forums and certains kinds of topics are simply unacceptable. Your posts are not allowed to contain political or sexual content, insults or offending accusations. Since the theme of this forum is Juve, we do not accept members offending past or present Juve players or staff. And another thing, if you choose to register here only to insult the team or players or forum members and you nothing constructive to say at all, your post(s) will be removed rapidly.

Well here's the law so to speak. I personally don't have anything at all against some good political debate done in the right way, its a hell of a lot better than gossipy threads at least. Having said that it is strictly against these rules, whether they still stand or not will have to be discussed urgently with Martin on his return..I'll have to leave that to someone else as I'm off on holiday myself tomorrow though.

Another point is that looking at rule 2, this one is never adhered to and no-one has ever been reprimanded for it, hell I swear on here myself and have never been told to tone it down or anything.

2. Foul language
You are not permitted to use foul language for shock value, or to attack a fellow poster, or in such a way that it is totally out of context and unnecessary. Occasional outbursts will not be acted upon, you will not be penalized for the occasional "damn" or "hell". Should continuous use exist, however, action will be taken accordingly.

To be fair the rules may need altering by ourselves in due course, but we'll obviously let you all know of any change. :)

Lets change the subject here for a while, just to tone things down. :)

Who here has ever been to Washington DC? Or how about the beaches on the East Coast? Care to name a few hot spots?

Ive been to Washington DC twice :)

I loved the Air and Space Museum. It was pretty cool, I liked that food they sell thats for astronauts.

The last time I went it was pretty funny, I went with some people from a camp I used to go to, and there was this frenchman that was completely crazy, when we got to the statue of Lincoln he jumped and climbed so he could get into the top of the statue, and sit on Lincoln's lap. The police caught him and threw him out of the site. I was so funny to hear the man afterwards explaining to the camp guide "I was just trying to sit on his lap, he was like a father to me!"

 Thats rather funny. Poor guy. :D Whatever you do, don't climb on statues or monuments in the U.S. now, especially the Lincoln Memorial.

Yeah the Air and Space Museum is a must-see place in DC. Its my favorite museum in the entire U.S. They also have a fantastic IMAX Theatre there. :)

East Coast rules and DC is absolutely the place to be. A lot of changes in the city taking place right now with a new pragmatic mayor. Real estate prices skyrocketed with all the current developments. A lot of money to be made in the next 5 years or so.

I am in DC alot of times....the Air and Space Museum rocks! great place to go!

    @Andy-where do you live exactly?
Well, I live out in the "new" suburbs of DC. If you go up I-270 to Frederick MD, and then another 20 minutes North on US 15, thats where I'm at. I live right on the Mason Dixon line basically. The reason its called a new suburb of DC is because they are building 3000 homes in the area, which will belong to mostly commuters to DC. So saying I live right outside DC is abit of a stretch. But it doesn't take that long to get down there, especially by the Metro. :)

Where in Virginia do you live?

Whats the population of Washington DC?
I think its about 800,000 or so in DC Metro. But about 6 million in the whole DC Area. Makes good for traffic issues. :groan:

I've been to DC once.. durring the sniper shootings (not the best time). Interesting place, though i didn't stay long, I just did some sight seeing and i visited a friend. One part ('M' street) reminded me a lot of back home (Riyadh) with all the Arabs.

NYC is an awesome city. I like it even better than Paris
Haven't been to NYC, but one day I will, and I'll come down on you HARD for this remark. Paris is the greatest city on earth.

I don't think Paris is that special actually. Rome is more beautiful and Naples..well, that's just brilliant..

Rome certainly is a beatifull city, but IMO Paris slightly edges it. There's just something magic about Paris, I can't explain it.

And Paris isn't special? Ok, it's not your favourite, but it's not special?! What'cha been smoking, Seven?
