There are 3 certainties in life.

#1) Death
#2) Taxes
#3) USC losing a game that they shouldn't every season.

The good news I guess, from where I'm standing, is at least it got taken care of early in the season, so I can officially abandon all hope of a national championship this year. At least they took care of the inevitability in September.

my canes are back in the top 10 for the 1st time in years!! :weee:

so how are you holding up after this weekend's game? you can't possibly tell me that UW is that good?

Oh, I'm fine. They were bound to lose to an inferior team once this season. Happens all the time.

And I don't think that Washington is that good, but they are better than I thought. They gave LSU a pretty good game.

Any team that has Steve Sarkisian as your head coach is going to get good play from the Quarterback. (See: Leinart, Booty, Sanchez).

I'm just not sure if its a case of USC players believing all the hype, or the team is not as good as advertised. It is probablya little of both, but I would lean to the former rather than the latter. When I went out to L.A. 5 years ago, it was ALL about USC. All USC, all the time. The Lakers and Dodgers are a distant 2nd and third, respectively.

Congrats on Miami making the Top 10.

so is barkeley starting this week?
No idea.

I'm surprised they didn't bring Mustain in on Saturday.

Corp looked absolutely lost.

And those two fumbles by Stafon Johnson and Havili.

Jeez.

Hey who knows, maybe the Pac 10 is actually better this year than it has been in a while.

Several teams in the division already have some very good out of conference quality wins.

UCLA has beaten Tennessee onthe road, and Kansas State, Oregon beat Utah, California beat Minnesota on the road.

The strenght of schedule for the Pac10 out of conference is going to be strong this year.
