I don't say stuff just to say it, Andy. THey are ridiculously deep at running back, and the first 4 that I mentioned were either the #1 or #2 RB in the nation for their respective recruiting classes. Its difficult to spread the carries evenly. I'm stunned that none of them transferred, to be quite honest with you. Their depth at RB is well known in college football circles.

And they are not "4th or 5th Stringers". THose types of players only see the ball if they are up by 50 or down by 50. All of these kids get some playing time.

And Dru, my point earlier was in regards to the situation where Oklahoma is now stuck with a redshirt freshman as their starting quarterback. A program of that prestige should never get itself put in that scenario. Never. A program like that should always be 2-deep, especially at QB.
I'm not questioning that they're good and have depth. McKnight and Johnson are certainly great, especially the latter. But do you really think the guys that come after them are better than the likes of Scott, Jahvid Best, Spiller, or Devine?

I'm not saying they are better. I said that they could start for a lot of teams out there. Never said they were better. But I'll tell you this. THose other 3 running backs I mentioned are probably better than most teams 2nd string RB's

OK, fair enough. That's probably true. I just didn't know what you meant by that, and I could name other running backs who are very good as well.
