No, Sergio stated any of USC's six tailbacks could start for most college football programs.

"Difference between Oklahoma and USC, is that USC has Aaron Corp and Mitch Mustain as the 2nd and 3rd string Quarterbacks. Plus they have 6 Running Backs who could start for just about any team in College.

Their depth issues are a little less troubling than Oklahoma"

I don't know if I buy that.

I don't really know much about USC's 4th and 5th stringers. It just doesn't make sense to say that they could start for pretty much anybody else when they don't get much time as it is.

But hey, I have no idea. Maybe they really do have a glut of talent there that goes five spots deep and they would push aside everybody else in the game. Only Carroll may know.

I don't say stuff just to say it, Andy. THey are ridiculously deep at running back, and the first 4 that I mentioned were either the #1 or #2 RB in the nation for their respective recruiting classes. Its difficult to spread the carries evenly. I'm stunned that none of them transferred, to be quite honest with you. Their depth at RB is well known in college football circles.

And they are not "4th or 5th Stringers". THose types of players only see the ball if they are up by 50 or down by 50. All of these kids get some playing time.

And Dru, my point earlier was in regards to the situation where Oklahoma is now stuck with a redshirt freshman as their starting quarterback. A program of that prestige should never get itself put in that scenario. Never. A program like that should always be 2-deep, especially at QB.
