sure it was, but I'm enthuastic to see intel's reaction.
I doubt Intel will accept the challenge because it's obvious that now AMD solution is better than Intel, both in perfomance and power consumption.

nice move by AMD to slap Intel's face.

Well it's not for me unfortunately :( I'm building the PC for someone else but at least I get to test drive it thoroughly

But you're right, I wouldn't buy a product that's brand new, in fact the dual core is gonna make vendors dump the single core x86_64 chips for nothing quite soon. ;)

I used to be mr nice guy who helped friends build their computer.
Though I'm glad that I can test drive the newest system,
It become god damn irritating when more and more people like your friend's friend's brother in law come and ask you to help him build one.
so I helped only first degree friends now. any inheritance from friends will be rejected asap.

I see what you mean. Personally, I never had that many requests myself, I'm still happy to help friends and family. :)

What you could do instead of flat out rejecting the request for help is charge them a nominal fee :D

I've installed like 20+ pirated windows OS to my built machine. I'm glad I didn't get caught yet.:p

to be frank, can't blame me. in my home country(Indonesia), it's far more easier to find pirated software than the original one.
when you go to the sofware shop, 99.99 % software you saw is pirated software.
