Amauri: 'I don't care about Juve'
By Football Italia staff
Amauri got his first goal for Fiorentina to defeat Milan at San Siro, but insists he does “not care” about doing Juventus a favour.
The Brazilian-Italian is still owned by the Bianconeri and re-opened the Scudetto race with a shock last-gasp winner at the Stadio Meazza.
“I am very happy. After so much suffering, we finally won,” smiled Amauri after the 2-1 victory, Fiorentina’s first here since 2001.
“I dedicate the goal to my wife. We should always go on to the field with this hunger.
“Did I do a favour for Juventus? I do not care, all I care about is doing a favour for Fiorentina. These are three fundamental points for us. I don’t care about the rest.”
